Project PokeDex 2.0 (2015 Edition)

Toxooze
Toxic Pokémon
ditto.gif

Basic Pokémon
Poison/Water
Ability: Poison Touch
Toxooze is composed of a slightly radioactive purple liquid. Prolonged exposure to this Pokémon can be harmful, so trainers don't use them often.

Radioxic
Radioactive Pokémon
grimer.gif

Evolves from Toxooze at level 30
Poison/Water
Ability: Poison Touch
This Pokémon is more radioactive than any element known to man. It is recommended to evolve it as quickly as possible to prevent any harm.

Gaseoact
Hardened Pokémon
weezing.gif

Evolves from Radioxic with a Hard Stone
Poison/Rock
Ability: Sturdy
When a Radioxic is exposed to a Hard Stone, it creates a chemical reaction and solidifies it as a Gaseoact. However, it also causes a mutation that gives it a second head. It is much less radioactive than its pre-evolutions, but it does expel toxic gas every so often.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't see much in the way of counterparts in this trio. I see that one attacks mindlessly, one thinks about its actions, and one has experience, but there's usually an aesthetic difference, too. Could it work as a secondary trio?

ok we all know these two were gonna be a line together sooner or later

One represents raw power, or brawn. One represents meditation, or brains. One is a mixture of both

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I see Reggie's using weebly to upload custom gifs. Can I upload them to Imgur, or is weebly the only way?

And Steffenka, will Eevee evolve into Leafeon if leveled up while you have a Licherock in the party? :p

I've decided to make some modifications, and added a backstory.

801 years ago, two kingdoms were at war. The Vol Kingdom made its home near a volcano, and the Isl Kingdom made its home on a neighboring island. Vol Kingdom was losing the war and decided to search for Blitzear, a legendary Pokemon. Blitzear helped turned the tables against the Isl Kingdom. Desperate, the Isl kingdom leader went into a temple and awakened Gigalesch in an attempt to save his people. Gigalesch went on a rampage and not only attacked the Vols but the Isls as well. While this was happening, a third legendary Pokemon was spectating: Eldeflyer. Eldeflyer had fought in many wars and was very wise. A young knight realized that Gigalesch and Blitzear could not meet up or else their powers would destroy the human civilization. The knight convinced Eldeflyer to help out, and Eldeflyer went into a primal reversion and helped the humans seal Gigalesh and Blitzear away from each other.

Feel free to critique the story, I kinda came up with it on the spot.

You can use imgur, but I personally prefer weebly.

Well, here they are! I just ended up doing fire/water/grass turtles, because Avalugg was a little too big and it seemed weird to just add an ice type one. They all get new -ate abilities as their HA's (think pixelate, aerilate, etc.). I had to resist using incinerate for fire (already a move) and hydrate for water (too close to the ability hydration), but I think the names turned out pretty well. Thanks a bunch to Reggie McGigas for the altered Squirtle sprite!

Turplain
Plain Turtle Pokemon
7656806_orig.gif

Basic Pokémon
Normal
Ability: Shell Armor (HA: Normalize)
Stats: 60/50/60/40/60/45 (315 Total)
If not for its bipedalism, many would mistake Turplain for a normal turtle!

Turvine
Plant Turtle Pokemon
grotle.gif

Evolves from Turplain with a Leaf Stone
Grass
Ability: Shell Armor (HA: Foliate)
Stats: 90/60/120/85/120/40(515 Total)
This Pokemon, though shy in nature, will form a very strong bond with its trainer if treated well.

Turflame
Fire Turtle Pokemon
torkoal.gif

Evolves from Turplain with a Fire Stone
Fire
Ability: Shell Armor (HA: Conflagrate)
Stats: 80/125/105/80/75/50(515 Total)
Turflame are often found roaming around volcanoes. Their breath is hot enough to melt solid steel.

Tursea
Sea Turtle Pokemon
tirtouga.gif

Evolves from Turplain with a Water Stone
Water
Ability: Shell Armor (HA: Aqueate)
Stats: 75/110/60/130/60/80(515 Total)
Tursea's shell is actually rather soft, so it must rely on its deadly offenses for protection.

Umm... Yes. Yes it does.

Also Reggie, what item do Eldeflyer need to Primal Reverse?
My mistake; I meant will Eevee evolve into Leafeon if leveled up with a Licherock in the party? I've fixed the post now.

And Imgur's not working for me. Perhaps I'm animating it wrong in Photoshop, perhaps I'm exporting it wrong. I'll try it again later.

Thanks! I actually think Garbodor would work well as a moss/lichen Pokémon. (Maybe then less genwunners would hate it for being "uncreative".) Just one question, isn't the idea of candy moss a bit gross? Either way, I still love the idea.

Considering all the stuff that goes into most real-world candy, I'd say candy moss is pretty good by comparison.

Like @Jabberwock said, I think there's a lot worse things that could get into candy ;)

A young knight realized that Gigalesch and Blitzear could not meet up or else their powers would destroy the human civilization. They ended up meeting anyway, and they fought in a grueling day-long battle. At the end, the two used their signature moves on each other and caused a huge explosion in the town they fought in. The Pokemon in the town were turned into mega stones, and the humans were turned to ash, with only a few survivors. Eldeflyer, seeing this, decided to help out, and Eldeflyer went into a primal reversion and helped the humans seal Gigalesh and Blitzear away from each other to prevent further harm.
