It's left hand is the shell of it's pre-evolution, Dustmite. It enjoys assisting scientists with their studies.
Thanks for doing the Mega Evo for me! What does the Volt Scape ability do? Please don't make it overly powerful!

You're welcome :D
*Volt Scape - when this Pokemon is sent out it automatically starts Electric Terrain
That's what it does ;)

Petalish

Maragon and Abso-Fusion
I know that Purifighter, Fightark, and Maragon shared a post because they came up at the same time, and that they aren't meant to form a trinity together, but it seemed like there could be more to Maragon than meets the eye...and perhaps this could be a place to use the one-off Abso-Fusion mechanic once more? The idea being that Maragon can fuse into either to become its armor, upsetting the balance and giving a definitive edge to one or the other. This drives them, motivates their conflict; each wants to find and gain Maragon's trust, and prevent the other from doing the same. As with all Abso-Fusions, the process is reversible.

Purifighter (Armor Forme)
Purified Fighter Pokémon
aggron.gif

Abso-Fuse Maragon into Fightark using the Accursed Anvil
Steel/Fighting
Ability: No Guard
Stats: 80/140/145/80/175/80 Total: 700
This Pokémon helps out others. It is said to have fought with Fightark before.

Fightark (Armor Forme)
Dark Fighter Pokémon
aggron-mega.gif

Abso-Fuse Maragon into Fightark using the Accursed Anvil
Steel/Dark
Ability: No Guard
Stats: 90/170/125/110/145/70 Total: 700
It is said to be untrustworthy. It has fought with Purifighter before.

I'm really liking your ideas! Here's my take on it.

Purifighter (Armor Forme)
Purified Fighter Pokémon
bisharp.gif

Abso-Fuse Maragon into Purifighter using the Nexus Stone
Steel/Fighting
Ability: Sheer Force
Stats: 80/170/115/120/135/80 Total: 700
This Pokémon helps out others. It is said to have fought with Fightark before.

Fightark (Armor Forme)
Dark Fighter Pokémon
aggron-mega.gif

Abso-Fuse Maragon into Purifighter using the Nexus Stone
Steel/Dark
Ability: Iron Fist
Stats: 90/130/155/80/175/70 Total: 700
It is said to be untrustworthy. It has fought with Purifighter before.

EDIT: Here is the last legendary Pokémon.

Mysteriguard
Guardian Pokémon
xatu.gif

Legendary Pokemon
Psychic/Rock
Ability: Wonder Guard
Stats: 80/80/120/120/120/80 Total: 600
It guards important gems from people by hiding it in its wings. It gives the gems to only people that it deems worthy.

Mysteriguard is our "mythical" Pokémon like Victini, Jirachi, Mew, etc. There is an event where you get it holding the Nexus Stone, however this is the only connection to it and the "Armor Trio"

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

Yeah, those visual choices for the line are much better in general. Thanks for figuring that out, I really only managed to get as far as the idea...making it look good, not so much. My only question is that, if Fightark is going to have Iron Fist, can Mega Fightape or Mega Chapin have No Guard? Because it's a neat ability that hasn't shown up yet, while Iron Fist is extremely common in the region so far.

Also, Steffenka, Darmanitan idea is by far the best look for Fightape we've seen so far. I was concerned that while Simisear and Monferno look like they belong together, Simisear didn't really match Fightape's description...but Darmanitan does perfectly, so that's an awesome idea.

And...I messed up on the Plipthon edit. I meant to give it the same Abilities as Aquaconda, rather than retaining its original ones, as it did in my original post.

I don't really understand what No Guard does, but I found some abilities from Pokemon Conquest that I find interesting:

Mega Chapin
Rabbit Pokémon
428.gif

Mega Evolves from Chapin when using the Chapinite
Normal/Fighting
Ability: Fighting Spirit*
Stats: 80/155/40/103/40/132 Total: 550
Some women sees Chapin as their rolemodel, because of its beautiful looks and its willingness to fight.

*Fighting Spirit: Restores a quarter of HP and raises Attack 2 stages when HP is low.

Mega Fightape
Brawler Pokémon
infernape.gif

Mega evolves from Fightape with the Fightapite.
Fire/Fighting
Ability: Hot Blooded*
Stats: 78/165/60/105/70/152 Total: 630
It spends its free time training. It becomes stronger when it on low health

*Hot Blooded: Attack and Special Attack raises 2 stages when HP is yellow, and 1 more stage when HP is red.

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

IMO fighting spirit is just a more op version of rally. Hot blooded is super op as well, I'm not sure if I like it.

I think I'll be keeping simisear as fightape. Why have a small ape evolve into a big ape and mega evolve back into a small ape?

I also gave Armor Purifighter no guard.

No Guard prevents attacks from missing - when a Pokémon with No Guard uses a low-accuracy move, it will always hit, but the enemy also can't miss when using moves on it. No Guard also allows striking opponents who are using Dig or Fly. It completely changes certain moves, like Dynamic Punch, which normally aren't too useful, which is a neat mechanic.

But the problem was too much Iron Fist...that just means there's no more Sheer Force anymore.

Ah, okay thank you for explaining. Then instead of Fighting Spirit, I think Mega Chapin should have Sheer Force, since it learns a lot of punching and kicking moves, with chances of flinching and/or status ailments (Ice Punch, Bounce, Focus Blast, Play Rough etc). Imo that would be a fitting ability for Mega Chapin.

I think that'd be pretty cool, and it would help set Mega Chapin apart from Mega Lopunny, who also has Iron Fist. So, to summarize, that'd be -

Mega Fightape: Iron Fist
Mega Chapin: Sheer Force
Armor Purifighter: No Guard
Armor Fightark: Iron Fist

On the subject of Abilities, there's quite a few popular ones that haven't shown up yet:
Contrary, Download, Dry Skin, Flower Gift
Fur Coat, Gale Wings, Huge Power, Magic Guard
Motor Drive, Pixilate, Poison Heal, Pure Power
Quick Feet, Refrigerate, Sand Rush, Simple
Stance Change, Tinted Lens, Trace, Volt Absorb

Also missing are three of the most infamous Abilities in the game, Moody, Parental Bond, and Speed Boost, but maybe that's for the best?

As far as I can tell, it has Illusion, but they're not quite the same. Imposter is an immediate switch-in Transform, though, so that probably should have gone in the infamous list rather than the popular list.

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

Due to the nature of this exercise, single Pokémon without an evolutionary family are a bit tough to execute...but I'm going to try. This one's all about Imposter, since we discussed it earlier.

Douball
Capsule Pokémon
amoonguss.gif

Basic Pokémon
Psychic/Grass
Ability: Imposter
Stats: 50/50/50/50/50/50 Total: 300

And just a miscellaneous, possible stats for Bulaow/Bullrush, if you're looking for suggestions. Obviously, if you need to tweak them to better fit your original intent, please do so, I was just looking to provide a starting point:

Bulaow Male: 100/75/50/75/50/100 Total: 450
Bulaow Female: 100/75/100/75/100/50 Total: 500
Bullrush: 100/120/50/75/50/130 Total: 525

Also, I do owe Steffenka, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Chapin apologies, I did in fact completely misidentify that Ability.

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

And that's a wrap! No more entries will be accepted at this time. Im going to update the dex one last time and then I'll start a mystery thread to follow up our amazing work. Great job, guys!

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

Finally finished the pokedex at 227 Pokémon (some lines were slightly altered). New thead coming later today!

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

It's great that the Pokédex is complete now! It's a massive undertaking, putting a bunch of Pokémon in order.

Though, there's another slight hiccup this time - during the Flarie line (starting at 166), there's two numbers missing, so there's actually only 225 Pokémon. A quick fix could be to put in His Goominess's Embird-Phlarenix line (With contributions from Steffenka) between Sacrevolt and Lagomood, since that's the only 2-stage line that appears to be missing, and there's something highly appropriate about a phoenix miraculously joining the lineup after the cutoff.

RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with different types and evolutionary lines!

Well if you haven't done it yet, go check out the new region thread! Before the thread gets locked I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who participated or even looked at this thread!
