Pokemon Aquamarine - Spriter Wanted

Not to be rude here, but if anyone thinks they can come up with better names, you better put up or shut up. This is a fan-idea game, we're (hopefully) not pushing it any father than the PC.

Woah, calm down, I was just giving you some advice. Now, I believe I may be able to come up with a better name for Flamice. You say it's a Flame Bird Pokemon whose wings are being close to being burnt off.

So let's mix in some words. First, since it is in fact some sort of bird, we have to implement some sort of bird term. Because the bird drawing created looks like some sort of large bird, we can use "talon" which means a claw of a large bird of prey. Also, we must implement words with fire and ice. We can use the prefix Pyro, and we can use the Japanese translation for Ice "aisu." Now, just blend. Pyraison. There. You've got a new pokemon.

That's what I want. We don't want negativity, we want fresh ideas. If you had Pokemon name ideas, you should have said that before running our work through the mud.

well lets see... (i only have the dragons EXACT sketch) they have a Raquaza-like body with a large mouth with tons of teeth, no wings,and lines along their body pertraining to their opposite color. Sorry I am not the best w/ pictures that is why I could not post them :( I hope this was helpful!!

Hmm... not bad, but I think I prefer Shiny Shinx's idea. Don't take this the wrong way, there are just way too many legendary dragons going around (Rayquaza, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina).

I also have a new idea:

Meteorock

Strange Rock Pokemon

Evolves into Solrock via Sun Stone, and Lunatone with a Moon Stone.

Appearance: Reddish rock on one half, light rock on the other. It is has the appearance of a Solrock-Lunatone combo.

Can be Bred by giving either parent the Mystic Rock, which will then go on to hatch a Meteorock.

Pretty good Nabby! I do think we should stop adding pokemon because 165 is alot or we could go to a bench mark like 170 and get the finalization on the Legend dex, but that is just my advice :)

Beeneral is not a good idea. When creating the pokemon of an animal, actually consider the characteristics of THAT ANIMAL. There is no such thing as a king bee, there never has been, and there never will be.

Flamice? Really? These names need to be able to roll off the tongue.

Ottyke doesn't sound appealing, and plus, you're just totally ripping off Mantyke.

Quillino? I don't understand what the suffix -ino stands for. Enlighten me.

Fangiper is AWFUL. First of all, the fact that you are combining Fang and viper is way to seeable. You have to be creative with these names, people!!

Please fix these names? If not, that's your decision. I'm just pointing it out.

I was thinking of making it 200, including about 20 already existing Pokemon like Gengar, Machamp, Golem, etc.

nabby, I could help on occasion, but I'm currently working on my own pokemon games, Pokemon Granite and Pokemon Cumulus. I may be able to help once in a while.

P.S. I'm still looking for help on Pokemon Granite and Pokemon Cumulus in case anyone is interested!! I need someone to create artwork for the pokemon, and that's it. :)

The way that I posted was Infiserp, not Infserp. I know you wanted Infserpent, but it doesn't sound right. Could we make it Infiserpent? Or something else completely.

Infiserpent is 11 characters. Only 10 are used in the Pokemon series. If you made it 11, the whole game would start looking weird. Infiserp is probably the best way to put it, or otherwise we might have to toss the idea out. Are you going to put Easter Eggs in the game? Right now I am putting them in Obsidian. Should we also start working on Abilities? We have about 3, so more work is needed.
