Think about it for a while and look closely.

hurrrrrrrr team plasma mutated a kabutobs and turned it into a genesect durrrrrrrrr
I've always thought of Zoroark and Lucario as rivals. For some reason, also Arcanine and Aerodactyl, but I have no clue where I came up with that....

Starly and Wurmple are also rivals.

Idk about Starly, but Swellow are known to prey on Wurmple, though that's one-sided like Heatmor and Durant.

And Blastoise and Charizard will forever be rivals, no matter what.

Garchomp vs. Hydreigon. This might be biased because I play TCG but this seems like a good rivalry for me.

You only say that because I used Garchomp for Regionals, and you used Hydreigon.

I can imagine Golurk vs. Porygon-Z, Golurk was created by ancient people, and Porygon-Z is a new pokemon made by technology.
I also always imagined Mewtwo and Lucario being rivals...don't know why.

Tauros vs. Bouffalant (or they could be buddies)
Pachirisu vs. Emolga (or they could be buddies)

Now that I've thought about it, Umbreon and Espeon should be rivals. I mean, Umbreon is super-effective against Espeon, but I still don't see how the two of them could be friends with that typing. It's a mystery. .o.
