OOC: OK, so from there you went right, and fought the boss level of 8 Pawniard, 2 Bisharp, 2 Forretress, 1 Rapidash, 1 Keldeo, 1 Nidoking, and 1 Nidoqueen. Now everyone's defeated besides the Nidos.

Hitmonlee, realizing that Nidoking had basically stunned himself, saw his chance to strike. He used a Close Combat on him, knowing that he would be able to pummel his opponent without him fighting back. Even though it wasn't very effective, it would still do a truckload.

Nidoking fell to the ground, but slowly got up, panting. "Time for my last attack!" he used Blizzard (OOC: I know, he has a TERRIBLE moveset.) on everyone but his wife, who also used Blizzard.

"I-I-Ice!!!" Salaric screamed as the 4x effective attacks both hit him. His whole body was quickly covered with a thick sheet of ice. As he plummeted from the sky he desperately tried to use Fire Blast to thaw himself out. Finally his head defrosted, but he was too close to the ground to avoid a crash landing, so he fired a Fire Blast beneath him. He plummeted through it and it melted all the ice. However, Salaric had sustained massive damage and with the crash landing he no longer had the strength to do much of anything. He tried to get up for a couple of seconds before passing out.

The Nidoking collapsed from the hit. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I cannot lose! I...cannot...lose..." it then disappeared.
You hear slow clapping. "Well done," the Nidoqueen said, "You've passed the test. Only true warriors to return home to Earth could defeat us. Once the King is knocked out, I cannot fight any longer. The King is terrible at fighting. He uses his subjects to do all of his work and protect himself to defeat his opponents. Learn from your enemies. You must become a team, become stronger off of one another, and never act like the one to rule them all. You have also lifted my curse, and I am free to find a not-so-greedy husband like him. As thanks, I will heal all of you and let you turn on the Return Portal Switch. The reason your planet seems so small is that when you walk outside of the colonies, you're returned to a certain area. But when this switch is off, you can explore the entire planet, which has Control Towers scattered around. Once you turn on the Switch in each of these towers, you will unlock the shields that prevent you from flying out, and you get to ride the Colony Cruise back, which is a ship so big that it will hold exactly every colony.
"But beware, the Control Towers are heavily guarded. Pokemon were not meant to touch them. If there was ever an emergency, the humans could easily access them, but Pokemon cannot. You must face the guards, wild Pokemon, like us. They were hired to protect them because they do not want to go back. Whatever they tell you, do not listen," Nidoqueen glared at Slash, "It's for your own good that you return. You must go back and revisit your home. The enemies you will face will be stronger than us. Good luck on your quest, may Arceus be with you..." Nidoqueen disappeared in a flash.
"I'm Mewist, not Arceist, but whatever, I got her point. That was an intense battle! I had to watch, because I couldn't fight. Anyway, time to pull this huge switch," Tartar said.
The entire group pulls the switch in one mighty heave. You hear a rumble in the distance...
"Let's get out of this dark place!" Tartar yelled as he ran out.
OOC: Let's do this Paper Mario style...
Give yourselves a pat on the back, wipe the sweat off of your forehead, and make your character rest in your colonies while I prepare things for Chapter One.

Slash was still feeling the aftereffects of the battle, but Nidoqueen had healed them well.
"Personally I think the legend of Arceus and his creation is much more plausible than Mew's, but that is only me. Now, I need to eat."
He walked over to the food court place and ordered a bunch more fries.

Fly walked down to where everyone was and saw they had been in another battle. After being informed of what had happened, he was furious. "Why do I miss all the action?! I wish I wasn't so easily distracted..."

Crystal woke up and walked to the salads. 'What a battle. Although I was weak. Hopefully there will not be any Fighting, Fire, Steel, and Rock types or I'm not going to be much help. I wasn't much help here either.' She got a small salad and sat down thinking.

OOC: Anybody who posts before Tuesday won't be cut out of the game yet as long as they stay active. Everyone else leaves, and then we open sign-ups again, let people come in until we have 12, and then we'll start. Just RP while you're waiting. Get items, train, etc.

When Salaric was done eating more than a dozen rolls of sushi, one of his favorite foods, he turned to the Jolteon who had fought with him. "Since we're going to be battling a lot more, how about we have a sparring match to train a bit before we go to take on the real enemies?"
