Political Views and Opinions Thread

@BAS... then why....if you say babies are 'alive' at 6 weeks after conception, does the whole of human society believe that the BIRTHday, the day you were 'born', or 'became alive', is on the actual day that you escape the womb? also, where are your sources for the "around 88% of abortions happen during the first trimester. The first trimester is week 1-12 after conception. Therefore, I don't think it takes a brain surgeon (or abortionist) to determine that 88% of abortions happen while the baby has a heartbeat."
argument?

They don't just challenge them, they talk to and about liberals like they are stupid and pass off their ideas as though they shouldn't be given a second thought, from what I've seen of it. I understand that not everybody does this, but I've noticed it mulitple times, especially Bill O'Reilly.

Bill O'Reilly is hired as a commentator, not a news correspondent - you have to understand; it's his job to give an opinion. Bill O'Reilly realizes that liberalism is stupid. Thus, he tells people, because telling people what he thinks is what he's paid to do. And considering he has the most watched cable news show in America, I'd say people enjoy hearing what he thinks. Conversely, Keith Olbermann did not get nearly as many views, and he has always been behind Bill O'Reilly.

Bill O'Reilly tells people what they want to hear. Keith Olbermann didn't. And what matters is what people want to hear, not what you think is "right".

@Idrum, The whole of human society? When somebody is considered alive varies from person to person. Some think it's when the fetus has a heartbeat, some believe at conception, some believe when the brain is fully formed, some believe when the fetus is no longer totally dependent on its mother for survival, some believe at birth, and so on.
