Possible Deck Archetypes coming out of the new Dragon Sets?

Wailord/Fliptini might see some play; he has massive HP (220 with cloak) and can do some decent damage. Only problem is lightning weakness.
 
Okay, guys- I'm pretty curious about what you people think about Registeel EX. Anyone want to give their say?
 
I don't think it will see much play, maybe The Truth decks might find it usefull. It does keep on decreasing damage but it won't decrease that much. Unless it stackes. Does it?

erm, I think you've misunderstood the term "effect of attack". Magnezone's Prime Lost Burn cost requirement is not an effect of attack, it's damage. Espeon block special condition or effects that force the defending pokemon to discard energy attach to itself .etc. Those are effects.

If that did happen espeon would be waayyy too over-powered and would be played in a lot of decks. I don't see anything particularly great about registeel. It's attacks aren't that great with 4 energies for only 80 and 20 less damage from your opponent's last attack. Its first attack isn't that bad but there are better ones. It also has 4 energy retreat cost. I don't think it will see much play but maybe someone will find a perfect match for it. Just wondering but does the effect of register EX's second attack build up?
 
Why would it? It says -20 damage during your next turn, so the effect wears off at the end of every opponent's turn then gets reapplied when you next use the attack. I don't think its too great, but I suppose it could work well with a few cards. For example, by using its first attack and hitting some enemy EXes, Reshiram or Zekrom EX can now OHKO an EX. It can also be used with Groudon EX to guarantee the 120 damage with Groudon EX's second attack.

It is also shut down by Garbodor. I'm thinking of using Terrakion EX with SSU, Seeker, Max Potion, and Darkrai EX. Invincibility.

3 Stage twos? Under trainer lock?

Wait. Hold on a sec. Vileplume will be out of rotation anyways, The Truth will be unplayable without trainer lock.

What 3 Stage 2s...? Garbodor is a stage one and it doesn't go in the Truth, it kills it.

No, I said Garbodor will also ruin truth because Reuniclus is out of commission. BTW, it is a Stage 1
 
You see though, when you play him, it's just Catcher Bait... They use Mewtwo EX, Catcher it, kill it, and continue to play. Also, "The Truth" Doesn't need Reuniclus's ability as much as Vileplumes... Just thought you might want to know that.

By the time this card comes out, Raikou EX will also be out. In my opinion, Garbodor's largest threat will be Raikou EX because it gets OHKO'd by the 100 damage snipe.

I beg to differ on both of those. If they catcher kill it with Mewtwo, you can revenge KO with your Mewtwo putting you up a prize. And, in the truth, the deck cannot run without Reuniclus because its to slow and cant accelerate energies
