Fair, but still! They do Year of the Dragon stuff, which is meant to reflect the Chinese Lunar New Year. I’m actually glad that other dragons get the spotlight too, but not so much that Ray got forgotten! (I know, I know Shiny Ray had a final feature at the end of the year, but a plush and a VCG event… how MUCH more did the “dragon” Zard, and even the Apple line, no hate toward the apples, got that year!!)

Ray does have a mega so it's possible it gets a product or headlining set for the end of this year! We still have a couple more opportunities for it to get one (maybe end of year special set or November set)

Gen 5 was always my least favourite gen, but I'm still curious. I think it'll be interesting if they split the set in 2.

2024 was Year of the Wood Dragon so Alolan Exeggutor wasn't too off a choice.

I really, really hope these cards are all at LEAST playable. It's annoying - but acceptable - when another gen's cards are mediocre, but if anybody deserves to be in the meta it's gen 5. When was the last time gen 5 mons were really good? Every emboar, bisharp, lilligant, samurott, chandelure, meloetta, scolipede, etc, etc over the last 12-14 years has been incredibly terrible.... or just okay. The only gen 5 mon that semi-regularly gets good cards is Kyurem. It's way past time for these poor bastards to be playable....
