Standard Psychic Deck Ideas (M Gallade EX / Gourgeist)

OK I've edited the OP, but I left the Lysandres in. This deck works perfectly with the Lysandre, and I found it works well with the Gallade Gourgeist combo. If you have any suggestions give them to me, else I'm good to go, thanks for everyone's help.

Pokemon: 19
  • 3-3 M Gallade EX (Main Attacker)
  • 4-3 Gourgeist (Confuse Ray - Spirit Scream)
  • 1 Toxicroak EX
  • 1 Gengar EX
  • 2 Wobuffet
  • 1-1 Meowstic (Ear Influence)
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 26
  • 3 Gallade Spirit Link
  • 3 Level Ball
  • 3 Dimension Valley (For Stadium wars)
  • 3 Mega Turbo (Acceleration)
  • 3 VS Seeker
  • 3 Lysandre
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 4 Shauna
  • 1 Super Rod
  • 3 Sycamore
Energy: 12
  • 4 Mystery Energy
  • 8 Psychic Energy
Nice list. Note, you now have 29 Trainers listed, not 26 (deck count is still 60).

IMO,

3 Lysandre is excessive since the deck strategy is to spread damage; so, no opponent Pokemon is shielded from the damage counter drops. Lysandre is helpful in placing an opponent's Pokemon into the Active position and use it as a "shield" while you spread and causing your opponent to expend "extra resources to remove it.

On the other hand, VS Seeker should be maxed-out at 4.

You may find that the current 7 card-draw Supporters are not sufficient to provide smooth and consistent deck operations. So, you could replace 1-2 (Psychic energy / Mega Turbo) with 1-2 other card-draw Supporters.

That is true, I have not had much use for the mega turbo. If possible, I would like to have 2-3 Escape ropes, so can you tell me where to make cuts, thanks in advance

Most pokemon in the deck have low retreat cost so even 2 is still excessive. Have 1-2 switching cards at most in a deck.

I'd suggest the following to initially test:

-2 Lysandre
-2 Mega Turbo

+1 VS Seeker
+1 Switch / Escape Rope
+1 Professor Sycamore
+1 Professor Birch's Observations
Consider trying different combinations of card-draw Supporters and supporting Items till you find what works best for you.

Instead of Sycamore and Birch, I added a Skyla and a Teammates, which works so well, I'll update the OP soon then leave comments on effectiveness, thanks
