(pulls out MT Mr. Mime)

ah, yes, this would be useful.

Except Rampy goes through Mr. Mime. =/

His Body only allows it to plow through Resistance and attack effects (Agility, Coating, etc), not bodies and powers.
It says effects, not effects of an attack. It gets through mime, obama, agility, metal energy, resistance, buffer piece, G, night spin, ANYTHING. It applies weakness. :/

rampardos is a decent deck and I am sure lots of juniers and senoirs wil play it.... but its body dosen't help againt most decks out there... as it dosen't apply weakness to all so popular regi and tyranitar thus its a fighting deck that has a max damage of 80 total.... regi pwns it... tyranitar with a little stall pwns it.... pretty much any deck that machamp pwns will pwn this deck... scizor cherrim pwns it + any other grass deck... btw dialga only weakens scizor cherim it still can do 70 per turn without al the pp and bucks it runs and you have to get a level x out. machamp is definitly the better option...

actually this deck is for my little 9year-old brother.

I guess we have to wait for it come to get an official writing of it, I'll try asking else where for people who know.

If it can plow through anything, it's just... broken. 2HKO Scizor no matter what.

On a lighter note, if that is the case, you'll get owned by No Guard, lol.

Wow, No Guard OWNS Rampardos LOL.

Broken if it can 2HKO anything? I'm sorry, but Kingdra can and has always been able to do that (besides Leafeon, which nobody plays), and it's not broken.

No. It's not the mere 80 damage of Rampardos I find useful...

It's the fact that you know exactly how much damage your doing vs the flippiness of Machamp. I've tried Pluspower, Crobat G, and Poketurn in my deck...

And I OHKOd a T1 Machamp with a T2 Rampardos with 2 Crobat G, one PokeTurn, and two Pluspower. Machamp can't utilize that easily because the damage it random.

EDIT: No Guard, lol. I like to see you murder yourself in front of a Uxie + "PP" + Energy + Unown G.

Machamp also needs 3 Heads to OHKO under No Guard.

Rampardos cannot do 140 to Machamp if it can past bodies btw, it will just do solid whatever it passes it.

Zyflair from 1st page: Even if machamp does rely on T1 donk, could rampardos or any other deck get out Unknown G T1 if they go 1st? And if they go 2nd, fossil excavator > roseanne.

Ha. And the chances of flipping at least three coins out of four is 5/16.
I've OHKOd a fully healthy Machamp with one Crobat G, two Poketurn, and two Pluspower late game. Right after that, it was difficult for the opponent to recover, especially since the opponent played donk as well.

I won 0-3. Rampardos usually 2HKOs, but it's very easy to deal the OHKO when your opponent doesn't need it.

@Wiseman: The matchup between Machamp and Rampardos relies on the coin flip. If I go first, you donk me, but if you go first, I donk you. Whoever goes second has the advantage, simple as that. It's the rest of the game I really refer to...

and very few things outspeed 80 damage for a single energy.

rampardos definetely, couse it can kill basic and some stage 1 pokemon.and can not be affected by a resistance, flying pokemon.then Rampardos can reduce damage by 20,All this for 1-2 energy/ies.Awesome HP and the retreat cost, voila´.

Like Kingdra?
Kingdra is better than both of them in the late game, but that's not exactly the argument we're supposed to focus on anyway.

How is kingdra better then either of them late game? Well, against a bad player/bad deck, I could see it being good late game. But anybody who kills thier claydols wins the matchup later in the game. Kingdra's biggest plus is the bench damage, but the 2 card discard is incredibly hard to deal with now, with answers to claydol, uxie, and kingdra in general.

What counters Uxie? You can kill my Claydol, but I'll just drop another Uxie. I don't think it's too hard to deal with. I'd take slight playable-roundable-vulnerability to some decks than a 40 damage backlash to all.

Don't add Omastar, it never works when you have it out (no lookers, wagers, opponent didn't candy) and the rest of the time you can't get it out. Howerver, the ONE time it worked for me, I PWNED a T-Tar deck. Also, I use Ramp + Champ...
