Pokemon REAL noobs Are SOOOOOOOOOOO anoying!

OK, this thread does not apply to people who are new to pokemon. What I am saying is that I can't stand those kids who watch the anime, and freak out when they catch a pikachu, because It's "ash's" pokemon. The kid I am talking about is the "head" of a "group" of 9 year old noobs. He kinds of bullies them around, and makes sure he's the "leader" of the pack. You may start to be realizing the type of kid I'm talking about. 9, conseeted, loved by members, hated by the rest. My question, is that how do I teach him that getting a pikachu doesn't make you as good as "ash", and getting a legendary in a pack doesn't make you "the greatest trainer ever"! He is really stubborn, and when i tell him that just because he is the "champion" of the game, doesn't mean he's truly any good. I'm not saying this to complain, but I want to know how to teach the brat what real competitive playing is like. any suggestions?

Maybe you can show some competitive video's online, judging by the speech I am guessing you are a good battler yourself and maybe you can show him how to battle over WI-FI with a freind.
Explain to him the stat programming and how legendarys can easily be beaten. Show him the infamous SEREBII.NET

Or if he is being real cocky and saying to you.
"NA NA NA NA NAA MY PIKACHUS BETTER THAN YOUOUOURS"
Just sit him down and play a wireless battle with him, and when you win, rub it in his face.

And I can relate, I HATE noobs

Just when you like evolve a pokemon and someone says
"EEERR It's not as good as a mewtwo"

First of all... get out your PokeWhip... No, but seriously..
I know that kind of kid.

First of all challenge him to a "Pokemon Battle!"
And beat him. Tell him no one is really the "Pokemon Champion."
Ignore him when he complains or says otherwise. Maybe show him a couple wi-fi battles by Marriland, especially the one where
he fights Untouchable, the mega-uber-user.

Or, you can simply let him have his fun? He'll figure it out sooner or later.
We all used to want to be Pokemon Masters if we were young enough when it came out.

If I play him, one of two things happens:
1 I bring out my shiny EV pokemon, and says that i cheated, without an AR (not possible)
2 He "hides" a AR he uses (he cheats)
3 he "accidentely" turns off his game, and claims i turned off my game, telling his minions that i "Knew I would loose"

But good idea about the youtube videos.
 
I think he might consider that "cheating."

Then he is a complete sor loser and shouldn't learn to know about proffesional battling in pokemon, if he can't lose then he can't learn...
 
And I'm stuck with him over my whole summer break. " I caught the legendary dialga, you can never get him cuz theirz only 1 in all of sinnoh, my mom would be so proud". He just emailed me that. And the freaky thing is, i never gave him my email.

Also realize that "anoying" has another "n" in it.
 
show him your dialga, giratina, whatever, the only way it appears to beat him is by doing what he's doing, and makesure you can comeback what he's going to say eg :
him: you cheated for that dialga
you: you think this up xD

Act as if it is no big deal. I find that to be a tactic of varying success (it normally works for me, but I'm not sure if it'll work for you). If he ever finds something to brag about (which I'm sure is, alot), just one-up him. So he caught a Dialga, big deal. He doesn't have a Shaymin now does he?
 
^ He doesn't have an arceus I would say is more accurate

Oooh that's an Idea, if you can get your hands on an arceus that would be a great thing to rub in his face

He has a "FRIEND" (like he'll ever get any) in japan named "ajika rajir" who is obviously made up, (funny his initials are AR), who supposobly got him oaks letter, and the flute thing. I showed him that a real shaymin is from "TRU", and he says that I am a bad person who stole it somehow, and that the only way to get it is through the japanese oak's letter event.
 
Why are you annoyed at this? You should be smiling that the guy has the ignorance of being so, so, so wrong.
 
^Ah, I was waiting for this. As devious, and cruel as this may sound, the kid is rich, and he buys free stuff for all his friends. *hint**hint**wink**wink**nudge**nudge*
 
Let me ask you this: why in Arceus's name do you care? You have no reason to be jealous of him nor should you even bother that he's a petty swindle with false things to brag about. You can just sit back and relax as you predict how much this is all going to come back and bite him in the future.
