A quick summary of grinding
Youngster: I like shorts! They're easy and confortable to wear!
Lass: What? How did my Weedle loose to your Charmelion?
Old Dude: Darn it! Dang you whippersnappers whipplin with your pokemans
*Reggie has entered Ampvet town
PaX: Yo Reggie!
Reggie: Hey
PaX: Let's go to the Glittering Cave and find some fossils!
Reggie: KK
*PaX and Reggie enter Glittering Cave
Reggie: What's this on the ground?
*Reggie obtained the Old Amber!

After exploring the cave a little

???: What's this
Reggie: Who are you?
???: I am shiny goodra!
Reggie: No, you're PokeChimpo
Shiny Goodra: I'm his evil twin brother, and I work for team flare. Now scram!

Shiny Goodra sends out a Houndoor while I go with SnorHax. Houndoor gets a howl up and a critical hit bite...Killling SnoHax

Reggie: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOI!!
Shiny Goodra: As you can see, I'm not one of those random grunts! I'm actually cool! Mwhaahahahaa

I decide to send in Goomy, who obliterates Houndoor with an anger boosted Bubble, that turned into Hydro Pump. The blast sends houndoor into Shiny Goodra and they both crash into a wall, soggy and wet.

Shiny Goodra: ughh....I'm not your only challenge. There are more Flare grunts here!

*Reggie proceeds to manhandle each Flare grunt

SoulWind: Hey Reggie, thanks for saving me from those Flare losers!
Reggie: Oh hey! So you decided to explore this cave too!
SoulWind: Yeah, but those hippies came up on me. Thank goodness you stopped them!
PaX: Hey guys!
Reggie and Soul: You alright?
PaX: Yeah...those Flare guys are tough, but I all beat them.
SoulWind: Reggie, I'm a friend of DNA and I heard he told you about Mega Evolution. So feel free to take this
*Reggie obtained the Aerodactylnite!
Reggie: Thanks!
SoulWind: Good luck out there!
*Reggie leaves the cave and enters the fossil lab
Eron: Hey Reggie!
Reggie: Hey.
Eron: What's wrong?
Reggie: My Snorlax died to those Team Flare Grunts
Eron: That sucks... Well, do you have a fossil on you? I can make a member for the team for you
Reggie: How?
Eron: Well, I use my magical powers, abra kadabra, and vola! Insta Pokémon!
Reggie: Well, I do have this...
*Eron obtained the Old Amber!
Eron: Now with my magic superpowers I will turn this into an Aerodactyl!

5 seconds later...

*Reggie obtained AngryBird the Aerodactyl!
Reggie: Thanks!
Eron: Np
*Reggie enters route 8
Teal: Hey Reggie!
Reggie: Hey!
Teal: How's Deino?
Reggie: Fine, thank you.
Teal: I'm short on time so let's make a rhyme?
Reggie: What? No musical numbers!
Teal: I found this In the sod, so take this old rod! Press A to cast away and you can fish all day...with your old rod!
*Reggie obtained the old rod!
Teal: Bye now
*Teal left
Reggie: That was weird
*Reggie grinds
BeastMode: Hey Reggie?
Reggie: What?
BeastMode: Diggersby
BeastMode: Tho
Reggie: what?
*What? BeastMode is evolving!
Reggie: Ohhhhh!
BeastMode evolved into Diggersby!
BeastMode: give me TM87 because...I have lots of swag!
Reggie: I don't have it
BeastMode: Way to ruin the moment Reggie, way to go.
Reggie: Well, I can make it up to you by challenging the next gym!
BeastMode: KK

*Reggie sends out NitroFlame

Reggie: Badge please?

*MtheW's Pokémon are dead on the floor with NitroFlame standing over it
MtheW: U kidding me
*MtheW gives Reggie the badge
Reggie: Have a nice day!
*Reggie leaves

*Reggie enters route who cares
???: Gyaoo!
???: Oh!
*Reggie gets tackled by a lucario
Lucario: Gyaoo!
Reggie: What the!
AoH: I'm sorry about that!
*AoH recalls Lucario
AoH: Listen, I heard you were interested in Mega Evolution. DNA told me
Reggie: Seems like DNA gets around, huh
AoH: Well, he is the most famous person in the region.
Reggie: Yeah
AoH: As I was saying, challenge my gym at Shallow Oar city, and if you win I'll give you the mega bracelet. This bracelet is key to mega evolution. What do you say?
Reggie: Deal!


???: Master, the boy is doing very well. He is learning about mega evolution!
Zygarde: Mega Evolution, huh? This is good, but there is one mega evolution he cannot obtain. It's a Pokémon that has been at war with me for many years, Golurk
Golurk: Oh, him, master?
Zygarde: Yes. He is threatening the colony here, and he must be stopped!

There was also a rule that after every 2 gyms I may wonder trade. I got a level 1 Bulbasaur, so yeah. I'm not sure if I will stick to this rule.

*Reggie pwns AoH with NitroFlame until he gets down to Hawlucha!
AoH: Hawlucha, Flying Press!
*Hawlucha crit haxes and leaves NitroFlame with 10 HP
Reggie: Crap
AoH: Finish it!
BeastMode: No!
*BeastMode jumps in front of Hawlucha's attack
Everyone: What!
Reggie: BeastMode! Are you alright?
BeastMode: ugh....NitroFlame...win this battle for me!
NitroFlame: Charrr!
*NitroFlame evolves into Charizard
AoH: Crap...
Reggie: CHARIZARD, FIAR YAR LAZERS!
NitroFlame: IMMA FAIREN MAH LAZERS!
*NitroFlame blows that hawk-wrestler into oblivion
AoH: Well....you won, but that wasn't a good battle
*BeastMode and AoH's Pokémon are shown lying on the ground, injured.
AoH: You'll get the badge, but If you want the mega bracelet you'll have to meet at the Tower of Mass Try. I met someone else who is interested in mega evolution there too.
*AoH leaves
Reggie: BeastMode! speak to me! Beastmode! Noooooo

That night

PaX: Is he coming?
AoH: He should be....
Reggie: Heyyal!
PaX: You?
Reggie: You?
AoH: So you each know each other. See, you both seem good at wielding mega evolution, but I only have one mega bracelet. You two will battle each other, and the winner gets to wield DigimonMega Evolution!
Reggie: KK.
*Reggie destroys PaX
AoH: A promise is a promise. Here's the world's most powerful device, in a child's hands.
*AoH gave Reggie the mega bracelet!
Reggie: Pwnage time
AoH: Also, your flying type Pokémon can't actually fly around naturally. They to eat this pill to learn how to fly. So here take the HM for Fly
*Reggie obtained Fly!
AoH: Good luck!
Reggie: You too


Later

Reggie: Hm...who should I replace BeastMode with....
???: You there!
Reggie: who-what-where?
GM Draclord: I'm GM Draclord. And I found this Magikarp, but I already have a water type Pokémon on my team. Do you want to have this free Magikarp?
Reggie: Done deal
GM Draclord: His name is It's over 9000!, take care of him
Reggie Ok, cya.
GM Draclord: Bai bai
Reggie: This....Is a shiny Magikarp! Well, let's take you to the lake so you can swim around
*Reggie has entered the lake
Reggie: What!
*Reggie noticed a Lapras trapped under a tree trunk
Reggie: AngryBird! Break that tree so Lapras can escape!
*AngryBird breaks the tree and Lapras escapes
Lapras: Hmmm
Reggie: Want to join my team Lapras, and beat up red haired hipsters that want to steal Pokémon?
*Lapras nods head yes
Reggie: Alright, you'll need a nickname. How about Ness?

Well it's a Magikarp. Not like I was using it anyways. Plus chain fishing is perfectly legal (If only I wasted 2 days of my time on something better)

On a more serious note, I am sad to see you go Reggie. Hope you come back soon. This nuzlocke has been going well and I have been enjoying it, however short my entry in your saga may have been. Glad to see that I was a gym leader though, seeing as how I've had Giovanni as my avvi for what seems like forever now. I've liked the seemingly improvisational nature of this play through a lot, even if the seriousness of the attachment to your Pokemon is kind of lost in the silliness. See ya soon!

So seeing as Athena has brought up a new nuzlocke, it inspired me to work on my old one now that I'm back. And no, I'm not copying her, because hers is a different kind of nuzlocke. The nuzlocke might not be accurate because I finished the game around 2 weeks ago.

Chapter 13: The lost chapter

In the last episode, Reggie beat AoH's gym and got the power of mega evolution.
