Standard Rouge Toxicroak/Ariados idea

Hello, i had this one idea, that this deck is gonna do well. The main idea is to poison your opponent, so they cannot damage you (Nor getting effects due to Bent Spoon) so they can't do anything without Garbodor. But, if my opponent switches out (or has Garb) i'm screwed.

Sooo, Anything to stop this problem? Ideas, techs, counters?

(Also, This deck is not really competitive, but idk.)

I tried this out for a while on the online client. I came to the unfortunate conclusion that it's not good enough right now, but will be very much improved when Poison Barb becomes legal with the SM set next month.
Poison Barb (tool): If the Pokémon this card is attached to is your Active Pokémon and is damaged from an opponent's attack (even if this Pokémon is Knocked Out), the Attacking Pokémon is now Poisoned.

Along with Toxapex maybe instead of Ariados?
Ability: Whenever your opponent retreats his or her Active Pokémon, the new Active Pokémon is now Poisoned.

Here is the (failed) list I was tinkering with, maybe it'll help you more than it did me.

I don't know the card name, but there will be one with an ability that poisons the new active pokemon whenever they retreat. That would eliminate the retreat option.
In expanded you have Virbank City Gym that puts 2 more damage on poisoned pokemon along with Hypnotoxic laser. Some other fighting support would be Focus Sash and Hawlucha for early damage.

Using a mincinno or beedrill ex could give you tool removal against garb, but it's not a perfect fix, especially because the minccino (how do you spell it?) Is basically a free prize for them.

I was thinking something like this as well but Garb is a big problem since we are using ability heavy pokemon

I feel like the Ariados line is unnesecary, your attack + the Toxapex is already an infinite poison, that means you can remove the Chaos tower for maybe Shrine to use Croagunk's Poison Up attack

I like that idea ill play test this without ariados and figure out what 4 cards to use to replace maybe 2 enhanced hammers one escape rope and a psychic energy

This is what I'm going to try

I like this new list a lot! have you considered maybe using Shrine of Memories as your stadium so you can use Poison Up? not sure how well it'll work but it may be worth testing...

ShoM is actually good because i was trying to figure out a way to get croagunk involved more while abusing toxicroaks ability. Depending on how stuff is played in your area you can switch the Silent Labs for ShoM

Played about thirty games and as soon as the infinite lock comes in they auto quit. won 16 of the 30 that was played so 50% win ratio lol
This was with list i posted earlier
