Quite the contrary. While I do like Mr. Mime a whole lot, the Mr. Mime in this story is just plain mean. He pretty much had to die or else the story would have ended with him killing everyone... and that wouldn'ta been much fun to read.

Also, where have you been? Max has been dead for a while now...

Mr. Mime wasn't that bad. You could've at least omitted the chopping head part.

No, it wouldn't have just ended. When all the mothers realized their kids hadn't come back, they'd use Ash's mom's Mr. Mime to kill Giovanni. Then they would go crazy, and destroy all of Kanto...

Hi, everyone! It's time for the probably-not-gonna-be-weekly status report!

Work on chapter twelve is best described as slow and steady. Word count right now is a little over 1,500. There's not too much done, but it's quality stuff, I think. ^-^

I reeeeeeeeally want to get this done, so it's very possible I will combine the bulk of chapter 13 with chapter twelve, creating one final mega-chapter for you guys to read before this story is finally done. The remainder of chapter 13 could be used as an epilogue, or perhaps I'll just throw it in at the end of chapter 12, giving you guys even more to go through, lol.

I want this story done as much as the rest of you. Shirley's getting anxious!

Hello, everyone.

I have to put this on hiatus for a while. I'm having both computer as well as internet problems, and the Platinum walkthrough has to get done first.

I will try to get something done once my computer gets working again, but until further notice, work on it will be even slower than it normally is, lol.

I apologize to any of you anticipating the ending. I know, I know, I want this story done as much as you guys do.

Hope you guys aren't looking for an update because it's not likely my computer is ever going to get functional again, and if it is, it's unlikely that it'll be any time soon.

However...

The Platinum guide is nearly finished. I may just cut my losses and start chapter twelve over again once I get that done. I don't know what the word count was when my computer went down the crapper, but I can remember most of what it is I'd written about... I think.

Of course, actually finishing the guide has to come first. As I said, it's just about done. I don't think I have to ask any of you what I should do, but I felt I should let you guys know that starting chapter twelve over is a possibility.

Anyway, I did not foresee my computer dying on me, so this story will obviously not be done by July, so I apologize for that.

In even worse news, a horrible truth has dawned on me:

Shirley is a _bad_ choice for a main character. She's too young. She would be fine if I hadn't planned on making her the main character, but... as of right now it appears that the second fic isn't going to happen.

HOWEVER...

Just because I'm probably abandoning the Mystery Dungeon fic doesn't mean that I'm going to abandon Shirley... or writing a second fic in general. I'm always listening for cool ideas to write about. Shirley will definitely be in it... though probably not as a Buneary, lol.

Thata about a third of the size of an average book. Normal sized book is say 3-400 pages, 300 words a page. 300x3000= 300,000

This could actually be published as a short novel lol, its definately good enough. Shame its just a fanfic, so its all about pokemon.

Seriously PMJ, I think you should go into writing. If its a hobby you cleraly enjoy, why don't you try writing stuff? I'm actually writing a book at the moment, and althgough its difficult with school and homework and stuff, it's a cool thing to do. You don't hav to worry abotu school or homework, maybe you should give it a try?
