BW/BW2 Should Team Rocket Return?

Well if you want to go by the character's personality then yeah, Team Rocket had more personality and a little bit of character development. They did have clear goals, however, their goals are THE most generic possible goals for a villain team to have, and the same as hundreds of other villains since the 80s.

Their goals and motivation are just so boring and overdone, and since Pokemon already has a total lack of a real storyline to begin with, adding generic villains just makes it even worse.

I suppose then Team Aqua and Magma would be the happy medium from an unbiased perspective. More unique goals then Team Rocket, and more personality then Team Galatic.

Back on topic, I think that team rocket will return but not in black or white as other people have been saying.
 
That team rocket grunt in my room stole my Pikachu, anyway i don't think they will return they were in most of the first two generations games including heartgold and soulsilver so i don't think they should be in it. I hated team rocket the best ones so far are hoenn's evil teams and sinnoh's hoenn's had original intentions and good personalities and i just generally like team galactic.
 
well, its good to change teams for awhile, you know? you wouldn't want the same team for ever.
 
I think Team Rocket should make a comeback as an after National-Dex storyline. Maybe they are searching for Giovanni, who decided to hide out in Isshu. I think TR should be in every game, because they are awesome.

that is really interesting! i love the idea! But as i said, it gets really annoying if they are there ALL THE TIME.
 
I hate the anime. There is absolutely no point. If anything though, they should focus the show on Team Rocket a lot more.

Yes that would be so awesome. Seeing Team Rocket periodically through the games, like maybe running into a grunt somewhere but it's never fully explained what they are doing in the region until post national. Maybe they would be like muttering something about their plans when you go near them and then run away.

Oh then... HECK NO!!!! I like them in all but they just dont do it for me. In the anime YES!! IMO I think they should let them catch some GOOD pokemon, but not to powerfull for ash to handle, but a challenge lol. I really(and always wanted) Meowth to learn some moves at least payday or something maybe even thunderbolt like the one in the Hoeon Leauge(FAT chance) lol

No it's for the games and we're not saying they are the main villains. Like the idea of them being part of a story line after the elite four

As cool as it would be to have team rocket after the e4, it's not going to happen. D: The games are getting close to being as perfect as a game can be, but Gamefreak isn't ready for the perfect game yet. (and having team rocket messin around after the e4 would make the games perfect)
 
If this is for the _games_, talk about the games. Otherwise, make a topic discussing TR in the anime section to discuss anime.

We're not saying it's going to happen, we are just discussing the idea of it.
 
No. Team Rocket should NEVER appear in main games again. They've done their part (twice), and we don't need more of their patheticness.
 
It would be pretty cool if they returned at all though. Team Rocket was easy to beat, and there were a lot of them, so it was easy money and exp.
