Pokemon Sprite Evolutions

No Lugia hasn't changed much. The only difference is now Sprite coloring is more advance. Lugia looks better rendered and more to it's anime color counterpart. It's expected though back then we didn't have as strong technology as we do now.

Yeah, Lugia's sprite changed in that it lost that awesome foreshortened finger and the expressive eyes, and it looks terrible now.

I see some changes here.

He had spikes on his back in gen 1, but generations 2-4 look the exact same. And in Black and White, Marowak is right-handed in it's front sprite and left-handed in it's back sprite. How did they let that slip?

^In Generation III, they have the handedness mixed up too. I had never noticed that.

Scizor really hasn't changed much, except for becoming orange in Generation III (and a bit darker thereafter).

For some reason they didn't show the wings in the back sprite until Generation V. Don't ask me why.

That gloom kinda derped a bit, and I see some tiny changes

The fluid that oozes from its mouth isn't drool. It is a nectar that is used to attract prey.

I love the carrot-colored Scizor. Funny thing is, though, is that on it's own it doesn't look that bad. It just really stands out when seeing with sprites colored the correct color.
