986? More like 493. For each invert, there is a SPECIFIC palette you have to use. I had NO choice over what color to use, only what Pokémon. How can that have any creativity in it whatsoever? Whereas the recolorer (I forgot who I went against... Mimebread, was it?) had over 1,000 choices of what color to use! D: I believe that is the unfair part.
Also, C88, you should have made it clearer what you meant by "no recoloring" in Round 5. That's probably the reason I lost >:O

And Myles, that's good. ;o I wasn't aware you were even a spriter.

42C, you also have the shiny forms of each of the Pokemon. Plus, knowing C88, he probably uses an RNG or something to decide who gets what.

The one thing I do agree on is that MylesPrower is an awesome spriter o.o
I didn't even know that you were a spriter...

@squirtli: Still, DUF had many more choices for colors than I did. There were over 2,000 possible outcomes for his sprite, though only 986 for me! (As there are no good quality official fifth gen sprites.)

And it seems as if this thing is going to fall apart. From now on I won't do any of those random types if you all wish. Round 5...God really? I specificaly stated on the front post that it meant NO RETYPING/COLORING TO LOOK A SPECIFIC TYPE. I explained later that say I retyped my Turtwig to look like a fire Pokemon recolored in fire, and added some flames. THIS SPRITE could not be used in my fusion. Same if I retyped any other Pokemon.

And Mules strikes the crowd with a dazzling sprite. 8D

I know, but the way you stated it was confusing, so I attempted to avoid recoloring at all. >_> My sprite would've been a lot cleaner if that had been clearer.

Oh, and I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. I like the idea of this, but sometimes I'll rant publicly without any consideration of being polite or nice. (And most of the time it's because I lost, and I thought my entry was good.)

Yeah, let's just get rid of the randomly giving both people different types of spriting. It would probably make things work out a lot more smoothly.
