Everyone else has NOT been confirmed by Nintendo. They are simply popular hopefuls that will be included in the game.

Anyways, Sega is coming out with a new game call Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (yes, I know. Very, very odd.). So, if Sega obviously has permission to use a Nintendo character, then Nintendo can use a Sega character! Also, both SSBB and MSOG are coming out very, very close to the same time.

The above information makes me almost positive that Sonic is going to be in Brawl. Positive.

I couldn't agree more with you. Sega and Nintendo's recent co-projects have certainly hinted towards Sonic being in SSBB. Then again, they could be oblivious to all the hub-ub fans are generating and not include him, but my guess is that a Sega mascot will probably be making its way onto SSBB. I can't think of a bigger mascot for Sega than Sonic though...

Anywho, site's been updated again. This time they've shown another new item; the Cracker Launcher.

All the characters that you have listed are in for sure and they are a gaurenteed spot in Brawl I have been getting Smash profiles through Nintendo Power and they are all confirmed to be true. If you can get some of theese issues and Pikachu is in the game for sure. Anyway that item you have does look like a hammer of some sort and it is cool. Also that item sounds like something out Of Super Metroid but I know it is not. The reason I say that is because of they way you can hold it and fire it too sort of like the Grapple beam but only that you cannot grab on to any thing with it but it sounds like you can fire it in the same way though.:)

Man, I love these daily updates, I'm assuming they're waiting until E3 to start revealing new characters though...

Probobly because Super Smash Bros has been a hit since it's debut on the Nintendo 64. So I could see Nintendo waiting that long because of how long it takes to make the game and they are revealing Characters in Nintendo Power but I have not seen any that have not been mentioned here so I am not posting about them until I see one that has not been mentioned here yet. Also because this is the last game of the trio they don't want to spoil things to quickly like they did with Super Smash Bros and Super Smash Bros Melee Me lee they gave four characters in Nintendo Power but online they had all characters and everything already up so they are taking their time by making this one the best of the 3 games and for the best to happen we have to wait. I know we are itching to see what the rest of the game will be like but they are still working on levels and they have not said much about them but so far it will be the best of all 3 games the way it looks so far.:)

Yes, Delfino Square has been one of my favorite places in every game that has it. And, I'm also glad they update it daily.

Delfino Square does look great. I had a feeling it would there.
I wonder what everyone's Final Smash will be. We already know that Mario will blast every one with super fire balls, and Link will smash with the Triforce. I can't even imagine Kirbys... Pikachu will mostlikely use send lighting down on every one. Fox might call in some arwing to blast contendors. Pit... not sure, not sure of Warios either.
Suggestions?
Also, do you think it would be better or worse if zelda and shiek were different charectors? Since Zelda pretty much sucks, they could improve her more, and give shiek different moves.

Delfino Plaza as a stage is something I've really been hoping for! I loved Mario Sunshine! ^ ^

I have bad news. Nintendo Power stopped revealing Characters this month so I will not be able to post about any more characters for now nut if I do hear of any we don't know about then I will be sure to post it here so for now the characters that we know about are in for sure but keep speculating because it could change anytime.:)

I'm sure they're going to be hush-hush about characters for a LONG while. They've had their turn, now it's the items/stages turn.

I hope Pit's final smash involves either a storm of arrows or a swarm of those little soldiers you could free with mallets in the dungeon zones. Or his harp could do some massive sleep/damage/transformation thing. I dunno.

I think we saw a bit of Kirby's...wasn't he wearing a chef's hat and boiling Mario alive in the video? That doesn't really explain much...but I think that's probably his.

Ya, it seemed like that was his to me. On a side note, IMO Link's was the absolute coolest Final Smash. ^ ^

I wonder what Pikachu's will be? *ponders*

The SSBB site udated (finally) with Pokemon! You can use Poke Balls on this game. Only three Pokemon have been confirmed to come out of the balls, and they are Chikorita, Goldeen, and Groudon.

Just saw the PokeBall update.

I wonder, what other Pokemon will make it in PokeBalls?

I hope they have at least have the DP starters. It would be amazing if they had several legends, though I doubt 100% that Arceus, Shaymin, and Darkrai will appear from a PokeBall.

Well, they had Mew and Celebi in SSBM, so maybe....

I would like to see Birdo from Super Mario Bros. 2 because in melee he had eggs that he launched your way and I have always loved that game so I hope he is a playable character. Imagine using his rug to float above while your opponents battle below. That would be sweet.:)

They'll probably be hyper-rare like Mew(or was it Celebi?) was in Melee. Albeit there are TOO many legendaries now, they were able to include them all in the last game, but I do think they'll make a lot of cuts. (I hope they don't keep only gen 3+ legendaries in this game to have them all, but I have a feeling they might)
