i cant believe ice climbers are gone they pwn! so does young link pichu deserves the right to leave, it stinks! wario stinks too if you know what i mean.... }...))}....
and they should add someone like sonic if he is allowed on the gamecube, then he should also be a nintendo product! boo should come too and the pakman dude, he can kick butt!
if there is someone who should be added it should be slippy the toad. hopefully meta knight is a new ice climbers..... he will pwn too
and if cloud is in this evry on wil win causehe donks bad

Who said they will take out the ice climbers.No one has comfired that and metanight attack look nothing like the ice climber

Check at the begining of this thread and I think Abhorsen one of our mods here mentioned it a few months ago after I made the thread.:)

They better have falco in the game, compared to fox in melee he has more power. They Better not take out the ice climbers because they are cool because they can hold two wepons an once. ',:)

It was partially confirmed a while back. Apparently, Sakurai stated on a radio show that IF anyone was to be cut it would be the Ice Climbers, Mr. Game and Watch, and Young Link. He also stated in the interview that Bowser Jr. , Windwaker Link, and Ridley would also be joining the cast. This could mean nothing though as it's been a while since that interview, so the development team could have changed their mind, who knows really...

I think he may not since he is not a classic character but he has power but he is slow compared to Fox's speed so I think he will be gone this time around and like they did in Melee they are not taking character requests. That is one of the reasons why Melee was so good because most of the characters and items and stages were requested ones because you could not get them in the first Super Smash Bros.:)

EDIT. Go to www.pokemon.com because they have some great news abut Brawl and it sounds like Groundon is going to be a throwable Pokemon.:)

Edit:I guess this mean that the pokemon stadium is a stage

I think that the same level from melee makes it's return in Brawl and It dure looks like Groundon makes his debut too. I hope that Kyogre is in if Groundon is but most like like since they are legendary Pokemon.:)

I think it would be cool to put in lucario and richu I mean yes they already have mewtwo,pikachu,pichu, and the puff ball of doom yes thats is a lot of pokemon but nintendo wanted 50 fighters in brawl so its ok to have a lot.

Suicune

The new legendaries Dialgia and Palkia
Celebi
Mew
Jarachi
Deoxys

I want those pokemon to be in the games so bad but I don't think it will happen and I think Chicorita is returning too.:)

When looking at the smash bros website, I saw pictures of Kirby using it's hammer attack. In the backround, You can see Earth (or some other planet), and Kirby standing on some sort of Space Ship thing...
Samus's Ship? Fox's Ship? Who knows?
Groundon looks awesome as well. At least we know the stadium is a new stage.

I'd hate to see the ice climbers go. If they do, Nintendo better get rid of all the clone characters as well (ie Falco, Dr Mario, Pichu) or at the very least change their movesets so they are no longer clones. It would be a shame to see the climbers leave while the likes of Pichu eat up valuable memory space which could be used for something... decent.

Yes I know they said they might get rid of pichu, I'm just using it as an example.

Edit- I did you notice the backround of some stages? I see a Yoshi's Island (game boy) stage.

Young link is out. Check Aborsen's first post on this thread. It is on page 4 and he listed some of the characters that were out for sure. I would like to see the Pokemon I listed above and some levels return from Melee and hopefully some from the first game and I hope the Birdo stage comes back too. That was a good level.:)

New Pokemon aren't going to be in; just like only G/S pokemon were available during the release of Melee and R/B in the release of the original.

That picture in the back of Kirby is a Fox stage, shown in the second trailer.

A very cartoony Yoshi level has also been added, and can be seen in the second trailer as well.

Ice Climbers will probably (sadly) leave the cast, as the Sakurai stated he wanted to get rid of retro characters (i.e. IC, G&W)

Most clones will also be removed, or at least given completely new movesets that are unlike their original character bases.

You never know they could put in more pokemon ans also xashx I ment they were puting in 50 charecters not 50 pokemon I mean come on they had 8 mario fighters in melee so why not more pokemon and also they are taking out young link.

I think Groudon has been confirmed and some of them were in the last game so I don't see why they'd get rid of them..... anyways Im almost positive that this is in here somewhere but does anyone know the realease date to SSBB? I want to know if I can get it for my Birthday (June 18) :p
