TCG Fail Moments.

my friend was runnign luxpluff at nats and had lux x out with a e-belt while his opponent had a machamp on his bench. my friend uses lookers investigation and see's the fighting energy in hand, he then proceeded to looker's his own hand instead of possibly saving him from machamp death.

I don't know if this is really a fail moment, since I couldn't do anything about it, but...

When I was at a Cities, I was playing DuskGar, with a 2-1-2 Gengar line (it was before PT, btw.), I had a Gastly on the bench, and I searched for a Gengar. (Had a candy in my hand.) I noticed BOTH my Gengars were prized. OK, I'll search for a Haunter and evolve to Gengar when I take my first prize...my ONLY Haunter was prized. >_>

This happened at a Battle Roads, I was planning on playing Amphy-Lock, but, due to circumstances, I played DuskCor instead. (Dusknoir/Gliscor, it's a fun rouge, but, that's about it. I Time Walk, and I look at prizes...I prized an entire Dusknoir line, and a Baltoy. (This was when I was only running 1-1 Claydol, due to having to borrow them.) The most annoying thing was, the Cities I had no hope of winning, as it was a horrible match-up for me. The Battle Roads I might've had a shot at winning if wasn't for the prized Dusknoir line. >_<

Every game, I ALWAYS start with one of my two uxies. I have a great hand going against flychamp (2 drawers) other than the uxie start. So I get a turn 1 belted kingdra prime and all he has is a machop and a baltoy, so Im thinking I have this in the bag. I fail on 2 SSU's on the uxie... Then I make a huge comeback, only to be decked out

At Professor Cup this year I did a misplay that costed me a game. I also lost one game because of my opponent flipping heads with SSU. Lost one other game because I had a terrible start so I didn't top.

I believe it was 2007's Nationals...I was running Mercury without Scizor ex. I was playing InferCatty, and my opponent and I were each one Prize away. I had put his Infernape LV.X asleep with my Kirlia d DF's Flickering Flames attack. I was waiting for a Holon Transceiver or a Holon Researcher or something of the sort. His Infernape was asleep for two turns when I drew the Holon Transceiver, which was exactly what I needed to get htat Researcher, pull out my Gardevoir ex d DF, and end the game with Flame Ball. After playing the card down, I forgot about the fact that I had used all of my Researcher already, and that they were all in my Discard Pile. Guess where I looked instead?

I tech a spiritomb into my deck for SP matchups, attach an Unown Q so that I can retreat, and lock them from powerspraying my Claydols after I have gotten knocked out. At a BR, I start with spiritomb and my entire hand is trainers. I draw a Pokemon Communication, the only trainer that would help me. What do ya know, I can't use it. I would have won the game, I was battling against a Plox deck that was using NO draw or trainers or supporters. That game brought me down that day :(

I was playing against a regigigas deck and i was using blastcatty, i walled out his gigas with pt wartortle because i kept flipping heads, time was called, i won due to the prizes i took via sacrifice

My friend was donked... by Unown Q. He started with Hoppip and went first. His opponent attached, Belted, and attacked FTW.

I was playtesting earlier with my SP deck. I had an active Garchomp C with enough energies to use Dragon Rush. I use Cyrus to get SP Radar that I can use to get Garchomp C lv X. All 3 of my radars were prized. :(

EDIT: Post #300! Yay!
