We will keep records of your best times or speed runs for single player games, discuss the fastest way possible to beat these games, and the best way to get the highest score you can.

I was thinking about doing a no death speed run of supermario 64 ds any ideas on how I could get it done in the fastest way possible IE:glitches speed running techniques ex.and when i say that i mean beat bowser 3 and save peach not get every star in the game and get to the top of the castle.

don't be so sure of yourself guys, I KNOW their are other Zelda experts, and their MIGHT(not as sure here) be other Metroid experts. So don't be sure of yourself, let's wait and see

I seriously need to make some time to play Donkey Kong Country Returns. It's just sitting there in my Wii begging to be played, but I'm always too sidetracked with other business. =o

lol I know how that feels got super mario galaxy 2 for christmas but never get around to playing it always caught up in other stuff plus i got to get it out of my bro's room witch is going to be a pain.

I haven't finished that game either, I plan to this saturday...
So, with only 2 months left until the 3DS, along with many new games will be released, games like Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus, Metal Gear Solid, and Nintendogs and Cats. With all these great games coming out, we have also noticed the news of problems with the 3DS. Will these problems be fixed before release like the Xbox Kinect? Or will we get a system with these minor problems. Discuss

You're on. I'm good at all the Metroid games I played, being most of them, and I know just about everything of the franchise's story.

Also, we did get pokemaister899 (who hasn't joined yet...) to take down Team Triforce so we could make this, and by doing so we offered him teh Zelda Expert position so he does kind of deserve it, unless someone is clearly more qualified. I think he should still have to apply.

I also don't think this team should be too much about online play, since there is already a specific group for both MarioKart online play and Brawl online play...

I'm waiting for him to reply, and we CAN have more than one expert, if one person is better in a field than another. Try not to discuss the positions here, I will decide what I decide

I'm so excited for the 3DS. Seeing as the graphics they've shown at Press Confrences/E3 weren't with the 3D on, I think you should still be able to turn the 3D off, and still enjoy the graphics.

The system is going to be expensive though (I've heard it will be about $350). But I'm still going to get it at launch, as well as a few other launch titles (like Kid Icarus, Paper Mario and Mario Kart).

The 3DS will most likely be 250$ don't worry. Still expensive but not any worse than the Wii was. Also, some of these "launch titles" won't be seen for a while... SSBB was meant to be a Wii launch title but we got it in 08, more than a year after the Wii came out. Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt was a demo that came out with the DS in 2004 but the actual game came out in 06. You get my point.

Yeah, a lot of games that I was looking forward to for the 3DS aren't even launch titles or have announced dates yet for the 3DS in Japan. That's usually a sign that something similar will happen in other Countries.

I'm still looking forward to it though. I'm not six years old so I can't wait to try out the 3D for myself finally. I don't know about the price though. It definitely shouldn't be $250 when it only has Gamecube level graphics. $200 is reasonable though, with price drops on everything else.

I'm just saying something, but I thought Meaty told me in a PM that I would be a high level member in here(in this case, co-leader), for shutting down Team Triforce. I'm not even a regular member here. I hope it changes soon.

@Pokemaister: I made said promise, but I still need you to send the application for my own records and deals, and I still need to wait until the end of the week to choose leaders JUST IN CASE you aren't active or bail out, you can promise all you want, but as leader, I need to be sure, please don't post until said application is sent, thanks...
Edit: @everyone else: I can't wait for the 3DS either, it honestly looks amazing, I didn't think about the game releases though, so you do bring up a good point Meaty...
So, what do you guys think of the 3DS as a system itself($250?! I doubt that, $200 sounds more right)

Well, unless I missed something, I'm not seeing too many flaws with the 3DS. Except maybe its price. But other than that, it looks good. It's got backwards compatibility, the 3D can be turned off, and all that. The only concern I have is if it comes out in White. I want a White 3DS!!!

Plus, the game titles look amazing, with remakes, new titles in series needing titles, and some old favorites. I hope they make a Super Smash Bros. 3DS!

EDIT: I think that about $235 would be right, because $200 is only a $20 increase from the DSi. And the 3DS has 3D!

Well, it has 2 problems.
1. 3D effects hurt your eyes
2. You have to hold it still for the 3D effects to work
You guys think this will be fixed before its release?

They'll have to fix those problems if they want the 3DS to be successful. I'm sure they'll tweak the problems before they ship the finished products out.
