Yeah, the Pokemon series sell out sometimes in the beginning which can be annoying. BTW, just got 121 stars on Mario Galaxy (wii). Luigi and Purple coins baby.

I don't have any facts about this, but because the N64 and DS have roughly the same specs, I doubt Ocarina of Time goes over the 512 MB limit currently in place for DS. Also, a manufacturer apparently confirmed that the 3DS cartridges will run from 1GB to 8GB about a month ago. Lots and lots of room for characters and tracks on that.

That's around twice the amount of information as the average DVD. These games have the potential to be really detailed. Maybe Nintendo can overcome its graphics perception with some high-tech stuff in these games. The problem is 3D probably takes up a lot of it.

Kinda funny I preordered Black and White at Gamestop yesterday when I was getting Entei.
I'm still kinda on the fence to preorder the 3DS at least for right now. $50 is an insane amount to put down which practically means I NEED the money come release day for the console or I can just throw that 50 down the toilet. The launch games aren't a ton special to me, although the Browser and the 3DS shop will be available on launch day. And the shop will take cash, not points anymore. That's probably what I'm looking forward too the most.

I don't think I'll be getting a 3DS at launch either. The launch games are IMO awful. The only one I'm remotely interested in is Nintendogs, but I'd rather save my funds for Mario Kart/Paper Mario/Kid Icarus.

My DS Lite is messed up enough to make me buy it at release. The touch screen is uncalibrated, the top screen won't lock in place, and it will randomly turn off on me sometimes. (sometimes, though, it'll work fine)

Unless it's slipping my mind for some reason, what are the launch games (I was 95% sure they haven't been revealed)?
EDIT: Oh... yeah... that post a few posts up. It did slip my mind. Out of those, though, I'm excited for the top three first party games (nintendogs + cats, Pilotwings Resort, and Steel Diver [those would be the launch titles I would get if I had a ton of money]) and partially SSFIV3DE (not enough to buy it, but I'd get it if I was really into fighting games).
You've already missed Entei, unless your Gamestop is forgetful and doesn't switch out the cartridge when an event ends (like mine was today
). But if you have Wi-Fi, the European versions of the beasts should be available in America as well in early February.

I agree, launch games.... suck. I like SSF43D a lot, though (I love Street Fighter). I'm guessing the competitive scene won't be as big as the console's, because of lag and stuff like that. Looks fun anyways.

The new Nintenbdogs game is called Nintendogs+cats. It has cats and dogs in it. And I'm getting it, it's by far the most exciting launch title. xD

I honestly think that the nintendogs game is really hilarious. Really only the title, as it only advertises the dogs. It looks like this...
