Speaking of Virtual Consoles, the 3DS has a Virtual Console. So far, Super Mario Land has been confirmed for it (and I'm excited; maybe I'll be able to beat it). What other games would you like to see on it? I wouldn't mind seeing Balloon Kid and Mole Mania.

I've seen the Wario Land games. They look cool. I'm a fan of Shake It, so it'd be cool to see what the beginning games in the series looked like.

Well, if their are GBC and GBA remakes...(Pokemon Yellow Remake?)(Kirby Remakes? Preferably Dream Land?)

If they wanted to make a Pokemon Yellow remake, don't you think they would've released it instead of FR/LG? It may make sense now, but it would've made more sense then, I think.

I remember reading somewhere that they won't release the Wii 2 until Miyamoto has done everything he possibly can with the Wii. And since we're still waiting for Pikmin 3, we won't see the Wii 2 for a while.

Is Metroid: Other M any good? My store has it and Prime 3, and I'm not sure which one to pick.

Neither. Get Metroid Prime Trilogy if you can find it, it's Primes 1-3 with Wii controls (making 1 & 2 amazing), for the same price as any Wii game... Then you can also play all 3 in order if you haven't. I guess if you can't find Trilogy then get Other M, since Prime 3's pretty worthless now, but I'd play Super Metroid before Other M so that uou have a bit of story background, and it's a great game anyway. The Prime games hardly relate to the other games, though they do have their place in the timeline, but they are still great Metroid games.

You know, if you have questions I can pretty much give a list of every Metroid game and what it's about and why I think it's good or bad.


By the way, you guys need to stop thinking "remakes". The virtual console doesn't remake games, it's the same thing as Wii, it just lets you download older games...

The Wii 2 won't be out for a couple more years, I predict 2013-2015? Sometime around then. We still got a long ways to go

Yeah, it'll be a couple of years for the Wii 2 to come out. Right now, it's all just speculation.

Honestly Other M didn't give me much desire to replay, but I might eventually 100% my file. It did just come out in September, though, and I don't replay games too soon after I beat them....

I didn't think of a Metroid II VC release, but it could possibly be Dread, if it still exists.

As Meaty said, Super Metroid and Ocarina of Time are fantastic choices, but if you don't have a Classic or Gamecube controller, hold off on both, as they won't be playable. And even if you do own the aforementioned controllers, you might still want to hold off on Ocarina of Time if you plan on getting a 3DS, with the remake/enhanced port on its way.

And it apparently won't be like the crippled GBA backwards compatibility of the DS and DS Lite, where you couldn't do any kind of communication between systems. This means that the Live Caster/Xtransceiver will work on the 3DS, as well.
