Posting to say i'm a master now. Also, I just completed my review of HGSS. Here are the cards that I think have potential:

Jumpluff Swarm (no pichu)
Donphan Prime
Clefable. Not sure about what decks, but it could create some amazing lock decks.
Great Blissey+ Gyarados
Dunsparce might be thrown into shuppet donks to help beat flygon
Most of the trainers are amazing
Metapod would be a good tech but dialga g
Charizard AR+Ninetales HGSS+Typhlosion Prime
Ursaring Prime's not bad

I phailed last weekend-
I started 2-0 and had no good matchups, considered dropping,didn't and then lost two games by one prize which in games I've lost-
vs. Jake, on time
vs. Austin, by 2 prizes
vs. Austin, by one prize
vs. Austin, by one prize
vs. Brandon, by one prize
vs. Brandon, by one prize
vs. Austin, bad start(Azelf/Crobat G), by three prizes
vs. Brandon, on time
vs. Henry, by one prize
vs. Adler, bad start(5 basic pokes and no Cyrus/Rosey and no non Call energy for whole game),by six prizes
vs. Zele, bad start(Lucario GL), by one prize
vs. Nicholas, bad start(Azelf),by one prize
vs. ??, bad prizes(all special metal and two warp prized), by one prize

So yeah 12 losses(two of them in top cut, the ones vs. Austin by one prize both in top cut) and terribad starts/prizes=doom :(
I've had no luck in cities going just 8-6 but I have one last deck to try and use...

My record is 7-4 lol, so I know how you feel. This weeked hopefully I will go like 11-4 or 10-5 or something like that, hoping to top so...lol. What did you play this weekend?

yay HG/SS pre-releases are confirmed to be around jan 27, and cities are now over

Yeah i know...states lol. I think I'm dipping into the pool of LA cards for that tournament. anybody have extra tomb PA for trade? I could really use one for my cities deck

Arrgh, IDK what to play, I'm thinking Flygon or SPs will be the play for states. Really nothing in the new set gets in their way too much(Donphan and Feraligator hurt SPs, but Gatr could be comboed w/Flygon)

Also seth I was playing Dialga/Garchomp Again, my record is 19-12 on the year, which is sorta bad considering all my losses have been bad starts or by one prize :(

Yeah that's curious. cuz what about bright look up gatr, smack it for 70 times two for dead? or just a bat and scoops with 60 from lux

nvm wat I said I forgot gatr is not weak to elect. oopsy. Umm altho I dont see an issue.

yeah palkia lock does disgusting things too that deck, andyou're not getting any of your precious energy when power sprayed or when your claydol's dead

NOICE! So, at my last cities, went 4-1 w/ Gechamp, and we needed 2 more masters for a top 8 cut, but we only had 30, so it was top 4. Anyways, I got 5th. :'(

I'm not sure actually, since I'm making a deck that will pwn most HGSS decks... anyway, I got Ho-Oh Legend in Japanese, so I'm an exited person right now
