Weakness: [P] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 1 / U / 41
Crobat / Psychic / 130 / Stage 2

Ability: Toxic Intimidation
Once during your turn, you may flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. If tails, draw a card.

[C][C] Acrobatics 90
This attack does 10 less damage for each card in your hand.

Weakness: [P] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 1 / R / 42
I like these :p

Requests!
Magmortar / Fire / 120 / Stage 1
467.png

Ability: Magma Flow
Once during your turn. If this Pokémon has no [R] Energy card attached to it, you may search your Discard Pile for a [R] Energy and attach it to this Pokémon.

[R][C] Melted Wave 40
Discard the Tool card attached to the Defending Pokémon.

Weakness: [W] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 2 / ??? / ???
Hippowdon / Fighting / 130 / Stage 1
450.png

[F] Sand Tomb 30
The Defending Pokémon can't Retreat during your opponent's next turn.

[F][F][C][C] Power Storm 40x
This attack does 40 times the damage for each Energy attached to your Benched Pokémon.

Weakness: [G] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
It was harder than I though it would, but I think the connection is pretty nice. I do want to get better in this :p
@bbninjas

If my wording isn't correct, please correct me :)

Magmortar's Ability should be worded as; "[...]your turn, if this[...]discard pile[...]" ; while see Skarmory-EX for wording for the attack.

See M Gardevoir-EX for Hippowdon's second attack.

Anyways, I also think you could improve with synergy between the two cards, especially in the flavour department. Currently, the effects/connection between the two cards could work between virtually any two cards, and aren't really specific to the individual Pokémon themselves. What I would do is think about how the two are related. To do so, I look primarily at the Pokedex entries, but also at the relation of types. In regards to Hippowdon and Magmortar, I could link the hot sun and the desert, and start brainstorming from there. I also like to take inspiration from contests [from the Anime], and try to fuse the elements from there, which is my personal preferred method. Through this method, I would probably make an effect inspired by a ball of fire surrounded by sand.

At this point, I'd be thinking something like Magmortar attacking with fireballs (Desert Flame) doing extra snipe damage to Pokémon depending on the amount of [F] you discard from the bench.

This is requests training :p

Randomly chosen Pokémon with connections

First thought: They share the same type!
Octillery / Water / 90 / Stage 1

Ability: Stickied
Once during your turn, you may look at the top 3 cards of your deck. If you find any [W] Energy in there, you may attach it to 1 of your [W] Pokémon. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck.

[W][W][W] Octazooka 80
If the Defending Pokémon tries to attack during your opponent's turn, you may flip a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing.

Weakness: [L] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
Greninja / Water / 130 / Stage 2

Ability: Aqua Block
Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by your opponent's Basic Pokémon.

[W][C] Swift Slash 60+
You may discard as many [W] Energy attached to this Pokémon, this attack does 30 more damage for each [W] Energy you discarded in this way.

Weakness: [G] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
This one is better than the one I did before for sure, but that is because they share the same type. The next one could be way more difficult!

More are coming in 2016! :p

Firstly, did you mean Stickied not Sticked?
Secondly, discard is never capitalised.
Thirdly, there needs to be a + after Greninja's attack as you are adding damage by discarding.

Anyways, the connections are a bit better. However, I still feel like thc two effects could be used on a Leavanny and Accelgor (as an example) and aren't really specific effects. Sure, you got the synergy mechanically, but I still feel like there is a void in the flavour connection. :)

I am giving it another try! (this training could help me out in future sets)
Thoughts: Hmm... This one is harder for sure. They both can Fly and live in the forest. They can learn the Round attack, hmm that is an idea, but we need another attack that will make the connection even better. Maybe something with Special Conditions. Sounds good.
Noctowl / Colorless / 100 / Stage 1
164.png

[C][C] round 30x
This attack does 30 times the number of Pokémon you have in play with the Round attack.

[C][C][C][C] Mind Blade 80+
If the Defending Pokémon is affected by an Special Condition, this attack does 70 more damage. If not, draw a card.

Weakness: [L] (x2) / Resistance: [F] (-20) / Retreat Cost: 2 / ??? / ???
Venomoth / Grass / 90 / Stage 1
049.png

Ability: Scatter Spores
Once during your turn, you may flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is Poisoned.

[G][G][C] Round 50x
This attack does 50 times the number of Pokémon you have in play with the Round attack.

Weakness: [R] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ??/
Bronzong seems fitting for Noctowl for his large attack, but not for Venomoth. Venomoth it used to sit on the Bench the whole time, for sure. Wait? Did I just...
and that makes me wanna build a deck with fake cards...

Another one?
Thoughts: Something with Confused or hypno, maybe an attack for bouffalant that becomes stronger if he is Confused. Bouffalant being angry if he is Confused, Paralyzed or Asleep? That sounds like bouffalant to me. Let's go over to the cards themselfes then.
Bouffalant / Colorless / 110 / Basic
626.png

Ability: Anger Burst
This Pokémon can't be Paralyzed or Asleep.

[C][C][C] Reckless Force 70
If this Pokémon is Confused, this attack does 50 more damage.

Weakness: [F] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
Hypno / Psychic / 90 / Stage 1
097.png

Ability: Hypnotic Clock
Once during your turn. If this Pokémon is on the Bench, you may use this Ability. Both Active Pokémon that have any Abilities are now Confused.

[P][C][C] Psychic 60
Move an Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.

Weakness: [P] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
I think the attack effects of these 2 fit really well and they make a good couple. Confused is a problem though. This could lead to 2HKO's without the use of an EX. Ah what am I even doing. :p

(the set is on the hold for now)

I think the synergy, as well as flavour, is getting better and better with these last few cards, Pidove! :) Bouffalant and Hypno especially work really nicely. My only concern with Bouffalant is that 120 doesn't seem like enough of a damage output, considering the huge risk you run by Confusing yourself. I could easily be wrong about that, though; I've had problems with balancing in the past. :p

Here's a bit of a challenge for you––a combo between Dedenne and Unfezant! I think the main challenge here lies with Dedenne: it's a pretty forgettable Pokémon, as it's only the latest in a series of Pikachu clones. So here, I'd like to see you come up with an effect that flavourwise works for Dedenne, but not for Pikachu, Pichu, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, or Emolga. :)

Thanks for the compliments and the challenge! It think I am doing the challenge tomorrow! :)

The improvement is real! Jabber hinted this, but you need to watch your flavour/mechanic relationships. I'm a bit confused how Mind Blade, for an example, relates to both special conditions and card drawing. I also feel like Venomoth/Noctowl synergy could fit on any many different cards, under different flavour of course, quite easily.

However, I'm really happy with the Bouffalant/Hypno combo! I really like your thought process, in that Bouffalent will get more powerful when angry... or affected by a Special Condition. Although the effects aren't anything too new, the flavour makes up for it. I think you could've thought of a better way to inflict Confusion through Hypno, as it's extremely similar to the recent Haunter print. The Ability nerf doesn't really make sense in the flavour, but definitely and improvement. :D

I'd personally knock the damage output to be 70+70.

Thanks, :p but I indeed didn't know a great attack name for Noctowl :(

Thoughts: Hmm... I can't find any connections, but I think I want to make the effects do something with Energy cards.
Dedenne / Fairy / 70 / Basic
702.png

Ability: Entrainment
If this Pokémon is on your Bench, this Pokémon has the same Ability as your opponent's Active Pokémon. If your opponent's Active Pokémon doesn't have an Ability, this Pokémon has no ability.

[C][C] Electro Track 10x
This attack does 10 times the number of Energy cards in play.

Weakness: [F] (x2) / Resistance: [M] (-20) / Retreat Cost: 2 / ??? / ???
Help me with Dedenne's Ability please :p
Unfezant / Colorless / 140 / Stage 2
521.png

Ability: Winds of Weight
Each [C] Energy attached to your [C] Pokémon are counted as [C][C] instead.

[C][C][C] Hurricane Wing 70
If the Defending Pokémon has an Ability, that Ability can't be used during your opponent's turn.

Weakness: [L] (x2) / Resistance: [F] (-20) / Retreat Cost: 2 / ??? / ???
I am pretty proud on the effects, but I think the connection could be better, but I don't know how to make it better.
@Jabberwock They are finished!

I want to show you all Pokémon I like, because making Pokémon cards for Pokémon I like is pretty fun. Get prepared for this list!

While making this list I used these lil' rules
- Don't use too much Flying types
- No legendaries
- No starters
- No Basics
Thoughts: Still 5 Flying types

Synergy between the two aren't bad and are nice cards, even if the flavour doesn't directly relate.

How about trying Ampharos and Aurorus?

Thoughts: Ehh... No connections. I am thinking about something with the opponent's hand.
Ampharos / Lightning / 140 / Stage-2
181.png

Ability: Voltage Mastery
As long as this Pokémon has any [L] Energy attached to it, prevent all effects of attacks, except damage, done to this Pokémon by your opponent's Active Pokémon.

[L][C] Shocked Impulse 120-
This attack does 10 less damage for each card in your opponent's hand.

Weakness: [F] (x2) / Resistance: [M] (-20) / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
Aurorus / Water / 130 / Stage-1
699.png

Ability: Fallen Snow
Once during your turn, you may flip a coin. If heads, Discard an card from your opponent's hand.

[W][C][C] Ice Edge 60+
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage.

Weakness: [M] (x2) / Resistance: None / Retreat Cost: 3 / ??? / ???
It doesn't directly relate, but some nice effects in my opinion. (except for ice Edge) If Fallen Snow is to overpowered tell me :p
