The day/night counter and Cherrim!

Day/Night counter is basically a double sided Stadium card, but it's played next to the Stadium and will always be in play.
So if player 1 has the Day side of the card faced towards them, player 2 should have the Night side of the card faced towards them.
The Day and Night side don't actually have an effect on their own, but they can 'unlock' the effects of some Pokémon's attacks or Abilities.
The player who goes first has to decide which side of the card they want to face them.
(everyone should have this card to play.)

Of course there shall be several Pokémon/Trainers that can change the time.

Looks interesting! I'm a bit concerned about Tapu Koko's Ability, though. I'm pretty sure you can theoretically always be discarding cards from your opponent's hand using the Ability, since your hand should nearly always be larger than your opponent's. It's particularly easy to do this on the first turn.
