Because there's a launch day distribution. So, I guess Nintendo and TPCi thought that Genesect would have been better plan to get sales than just a free item for pre-ordering. The same reason why there wasn't a pre-order bonus for Black and White. But I don't understand why we couldn't have a pre-order bonus too. Like Japan. They got those awesome keychains. Ever since Black and White's release you'd think the people who are in charge of pre-order bonuses for the main series games hired some new people.

Australia's getting both a preorder bonus and Genesect. Why can't we?

I did say it might have been HG/SS. 2 years may not feel very long, but for a series like Pokemon where they have consistent releases and most every single game has had a really nice goodie for pre-ordering at Gamestop (Emerald tin anyone), it's actually a long time to wait. If what I expect to happen is nothing for B/W 2, that will be 3 years and counting, so yeah.

Not sure if there are other Mexicans on the forum, but they will give the special coin like the ones from Australia if you pre-order B2/W2 at GamePlanet stores. Some stores in Mexico will also distribute Keldeo. This is the first time I have actually seen a distribution occur here.

I don't know if there will be promotions in the GameRush stores, though.

There may not be a pre-order bonus, but when Black and White launched, Toys"R"US gave away carrying cases to people who purchased the games there. Toys"R"US also had wall clings. Target gave away a free book with the purchase of the games. Maybe some store will do the same with B2W2.

You get pre-order bonuses only at stores where you pay overprice anyway (like GameStop). That's why I never got any preorder stuff.

Well, if there was going to be a pre-order bonus, they would've been revealed by now. B2W2's US release is just two weeks away!

Nope. There most likely won't be one. But as with past game releases, some stores should have some have special launch deals. Buy one, get one half off, free item with purchase, etc.

Well the final days are here (in the US) and still no word. I guess we get nothing this time around.

Best Buy Canada is having their usual $10 reward certificate if you pre-order.

Toys R Us is where I'll be buying mine. No pre-order necessary. Just be one of the first 20 and get a neat B2W2 themed collectible coin.

Oh. Well, hopefully, ther will be something good here in the US too. Toys'R'Us is known for havig great Pokemon deals for new games. They have since HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Don't mind my hijacking, but try to keep all the pre-launch hype in here. Events, excitement, launch specials. One thread should suffice for it.
