On the topic of comics,

I received a random package from amazon with a Pokemon manga magazine. Made my day. I didn't order it

As far as webcomics go, my favorites are Gunshow, Pictures For Sad Children, and Hark! A Vagrant. In the REAL PAPER FLESH I really like Scott Pilgrim, Black And White by Taiyo Matsumoto, and Dragon Ball. In the funnies in the paper I really dig Pearls Before Swine.

I'm a hardcore Spidey fan, and even I know that when you try to tell the same story for fifty years and keep it interesting the entire time, you're going to have to throw some twists and turns in here and there, and be creative. Marvel isn't killing your childhood, they're just trying to create something new for the next generation.

It's not so much as Marvel trying to kill my childhood but at the same time it's them trying to give a 50+ year old Superhero that's been the posterchild for the franchise (aside from X-Men's Wolverine) a huge sendoff for a more relevant character like Deadpool. You can't really relate to him like Spider-Man but he is better at wisecracking jokes and puns that will keep you entertained enough to buy Deadpool comics at least regardless If you think of him as a rip-off of Deathstroke from DC's Teen Titans.

I did overhear rumors that Marvel was planning on following DC in rebooting all their characters storylines like with the New 52 Comics. The only storyline that DC didn't reboot for the New 52 was Green Lantern cause it may have caused some kind of time paradox in comics sort of like the Infinite Crisis Arc. By rebooting DC's entire superhero lineup it still makes you wonder how Barbara Gordon can walk again like the events of The Killing Joke never happened. There was a recent Batgirl comic where the Joker kidnaps Barbara's mom to sort of make up for that I guess.

Deadpool's funnier than Spider-Man? oh noooooo guess spidey's gonna die

This is in no way a sendoff. I'm sure they'll continue some of the classic stories later down the line. This has been done multiple times with multiple comics, and I hear this exact reaction whenever comic writers want to try something new

Classic stories later down the line? That's what the Ultimate Marvel Comics are for, except in that version of the Marvel Universe Peter Parker gets killed by the Green Goblin where Miles Morales replaces Peter Parker as Spider-Man. As far as I know Issue #700 is the final issue of The Amazing Spider-Man.

Remember what happened to Ted Kord the original Blue Beetle from DC Comics? He was a rare case where a superhero can be permanently killed on the spot and regardless of how many times Marvel has brought back superheroes like Captain America, I wouldn't be surprised If Peter Parker gets killed off permanently as Spider-Man.

That depends on how the reboot goes. If fans reject in force, Peter will be back quickly.

At least death means nothing first string comic book characters. Pete'll be back fairly soon in 616, especially with all the hate at his death.

I actually like garfield a lot. I'm not a fanatic but i think it's pretty enjoyable :)

I've also read a bit of FoxTrot and Calvin and Hobbes. Can't say I'm crazy for FoxTrot but it's art intregues me. C&H was pretty cool (from what I read)

I've read a book of sonic before, and I'm scared to read anymore of it.

Also I read Pokemon Adventures 1-3. It was cool but rushed in the middle.

I also read Shaman King 1 it was pretty cool but I don't feel like finding then buying anymore of it.

I also Read Kingdom Hearts 1-4, Kingdom Hearts CoM 1-2, and Kingdom Hearts II 1-3.

I don't think Peter Parker in 616 will ever come back, plus I'm starting to realize now that putting Doc Ock in the body of Peter Parker seems like a good way for a villian to have a change of heart and become good for once. I didn't realize that until now although I can imagine just how interesting this idea would've been in DC Comics If Bruce Wayne switched minds with the Joker since those two characters are almost like yin and yang basically. I guess the same could be said for Spider-Man and Doc Ock...

Techinically they are one in the same.
like Anime and Cartoons.

Kill me. - okay, you are dead
