The Dark Knight

Do you think The Dark Knight will make more than $600 million??

Well, I think he's dead, unlike the wierd people who think he'll come back. :/

Dude the Riddler, the Riddler. A psychopath, serial killer that escaped with the other prisoners from Batman Begins seems possible.

I could picture this one more realistically then any others. Nolan has already crossed off Penguin and Catwoman of his list of villians. Bane, maybe.

I've already seen this twice, I'm gonna make it three times on Sunday, and even more after that. Its the best movie that has come out in the past five to ten years. I would even be tempted to say that it could be ranked among the best movies ever. On my personal list, its sitting nicely at second behind Pulp Fiction. Time may where it down or it could over take my favorite movie. I'm still at a lost of words to describe this. I want to make an epic long post dissecting it. But I cant. There is nothing to complain about. It is flawless.

Two-Face died at the end. Poison Ivy would be cool and the way Pride describes the Riddler makes it sounds like it is possible. I dont know about Cat Woman. But in the movie, when Bruce got the new suit, he asked if it could hold off dogs. Fox replied that it can stop a cat. So, people are supicious about that.

Exactly, concrete evidence^. :]

I can't describe this movie either. It's just plain awesomeness.

I'm thinking the next Batman will probably involve Catwoman.

She might team up with Batman or something and fight The Penguin or the Riddler. I'm not sure, there are a lot of villains that Batman could fight.

Oh yeah, and before I forget:

Best. Movie. Ever.

maybe Clay-Face. Oh yeeah! That would be awesome. He's my favorite Batman villian.

Everyone must remember that Nolan hates all of the super natural villians, thus this rules out many of batmans villians such as Clay-Face, Poison Ivy, Croc, etc. Though I would love to see Sean Bean as Clay-Face, almost seems too perfect. Nolan has also stated that he dislikes the Penguin and Halle Berry ruined Catwoman for him.

I would think arrested, since Heath died and I don't like the idea of someone else replacing him (if Joker was to come back). Would Mr. Freeze be supernatural??

I'm a big fan of good acting... Was the Joker really that good?

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. MYYYYYYYYYYYYY. GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

That is the dumbest question to ask about the Joker in this movie. Let's put it in perspective: Heath Ledger is not only the supreme Joker in this movie (Take that Jack!), but he is the best actor in this whole movie, and this movie is the best movie ever. So, there you go; a long convoluted answer to simply say that, yes, the Joker was good in this movie.

dont forget aaron eckharts preformance as two face <3

did you guys see the ending to bring it back they would have to do something stupid

why wreck a good thing , IF you haven't noticed most third movies fail (shrek 3 and spiderman 3 ) i would love them to make a 3rd one but how could they possibly make one as epic as this one with keeping it true to the ending of dark knight

I don't think itll make it to the top 3 maybe the top 15
its not as good as ironman
probally the same as the hulk

gross how could you even compare batman and the hulk like that i think you haven't seen both movies

and yes iron man was good but in no way compares to this

A third Batman will never live up to the hype, however, I have complete faith in Nolan. Memento, The Prestige, and the two Batmans are simply amazing movies. So to say that it will be bad I believe is incorrect. Unless of course Nolan does not return then I will say it'll be crap. >_>

Um... This movie is vastly superior to Iron Man, and the Hulk was terrible. Simply put: Iron Man raised the bar for Comic Book movies. The Dark Knight raised the bar for modern movies.

And Ben. Ledger was simply outstanding. It is not often when Bale does not have the performance in a movie and Ledger stole the show. I would consider Ledgers performance as the Joker to Hopkins portail of Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs.

And yes, Eckhart was very good. Its a shame that his and Bales performances will be completely overshadowed by Ledger.

I never really cared for Batman until I watched this. Though, they need to rename it to The Joker IMO. He stole the show. :p

I need to agree. However, all the movies after comics so far were fail. The problem is that all they want is money (no way) and they don't make a good movie with deep story and that kind of stuff. They make a movie full of action and graphic effects and they got the recepie for a movie all kids will want to watch. That's enough money as we saw with Spider man (records it broke).

I would consider that the main problem of movies after comics. There is a huge list of fails (Spider man, Hulk, The Man Thing, Ghost Rider, most of the Batmans --- not to mention half =/) and a very small one of good (The Punisher (most of the people don't like it (according to imdb score), but I think that's the kids who watched it, cause it's a really brootal movie), Batman Begins (how did you not like it? It's the first comic movie with deeper story and a bit less action. Right, you probably want more action - in that case I believe you really like all the movies I consider as fail - to akatsuki9) and Hellboy (however, I'm not too sure if it's even after comic =/)).

With Batman Begins Nolan showed us a movie after comic can have deeper story. That's what world was waiting for (a bit overreacting :p). That didn't stop Marvel from making more fails, but it did make them try at least making a good movie (Iron Man - it can be considered good).

With TDK it "raised the bar for modern movies". It's biggest hit all over the world, not to mention it's on the very top of the imdb. Hell, yes, with 9.5 it overscored Godfather - previous winner.

Worth watching if you're getting sick of dumb super hero movies. I literally love the way they made Joker (not visually as he's supposed to be smiling all the time, but he isn't). He's a REAL psycho. He doesn't kill for money, he kills for fun. I've been fan of Joker for years and he is like that in comics =)

BTW: Heath Ledger was the best actor ... I've (ever) seen. As the Joker.
RIP =(

I just got back from seeing this movie...

If Heath Ledger doesn't get an Oscar for his amazing performance, I am going to protest. Best movie this year by far...

Why exactly would you protest against Heath? I myself would vote for it, if I had a chance.

As I said... R. I. P. I hope you're in better place now =) or =(
