Eh, I wouldn't say VL is better than Lycan. But that's just me.
Then again, at level 53, you're too OP for any of that. I've slain multiple bandit camps w/o any damage. I conquered- No, I dominated Skuldafn.
Three Deathlords and a Dragon? Pfft. Puh-lease.

Me too! but I did it mostly using the restoration exploit, and got alduin down in one strike with dragonbane. Worst boss fight ever, but without them, I don't think I could have won, I'm waay too squishy.

Restoration glitch? I did it OG. It's easy, all you do is build up your skills, then say screw it all, and make Alduin bend to you!

I know. The funny thing is, I was already one-shotting giants when I got the god items, and I only wanted slightly more powerful enchantments for weapons and more health and stamina regen. The numbers were so big that at first they crashed my game, and after some tinkering, I was basically indestructible. NEVER AGAIN.
Am I the only one who thinks the dragon's breath attacks are certain death without the ability to dodge? also, they make the screen all white, and I can't see a thing.

I am a pure mage build and die easily, so I thought about getting my restoration to 100 so I just did equilibrium spell, with a healing hands, and before you know it bam 100, so now its easier to go throught the game :3. So, do any of you know where to grind xp at? I am to any suggestions XD

For mage classes, grinding xp is quite easy. For my Dunmer mage (conjuration/destruction) and my Nord spellsword (destruction/restoration/conjuration), not fast-traveling is a good start.
Since Destruction only works if you hit valid targets with it, if you actually travel from place to place, you'll be able to use destruction on more things due to random encounter spawners.
Conjuration is built-up in a similar manor. Right before I get into a battle with a dragon or whatnot (usually a high-leveled or challenging mob), I summon an Atronach and, if I cannot obtain any more souls for my soul gems, take out my Bound Sword.
Sidenote: Using bound weaponry is actually better; all of them are of daedric status.
Restoration and Illusion, I have no clue.
Alteration: Magelight, Candlelight, and Transmute. So you can basically grind magic xp while you grind smithing and speech xp in towns.

Thank you for the information, this is actually helping, Alteration seems the easiest because of candle light.

So I was out killing a giant right all of a sudden the giant hit the ground knocks me back and another giant pops out where he hits, is this possible? o_O

yes I have downloaded the patches, but that was just like what the hell just happened I am about to kill one, and then bam here another one, and it kills me >

lost all the experience going there

I'll ask here, since... Its the Elder Scrolls Thread.

Question about Skyrim (and coincidently, Giants).

So, I'm level 53, with about 350 health. I read somewhere that Giants deal 256 damage, or something like that... But the moment I walk up to a giant, bam... He OHKO me... Even when I have Glass armor on (I like Glass more than Ebony).

Is this a glitch, or is it something that I am doing. I'm so sick of having to pass Giant camps, passing the Mammoths, shooting them for the lulz and when I try to run away, the Giants catch up to me from no where and kill me -.-

if you're at level 53, you should be able to dominate Giants.
The only escape from this problem is not shooting the mammoths. Upgrade your armor at forges, and a little enchanting won't hurt.... Well, not you, that is!

I feel your pain. but My friend trolls them with werewolf form and knocks them down and watches them suffer (not fair -.-) but yes smithing and enchanting your armor will help and How I kill them is frost damage, it will slow them down and you can dodge out of the way a bit, or get the spell oakflesh or a stronger version of that spell.

You're wearing light armor, so that means you will be taking in more damage. Glass armor =/= ebony armor (light armor =/= heavy armor). This might sound a little bad, but armour should correspond with what you're using as attacks (melee or sneak). So if you're using melee, you'd be better off using heavy armor.

I don't carry armor, but I don't need to get near giants, so... If you don't want to carry better armor or get armor perks, your best bet would be to carry some arrows and a bow with a freeze enchantment, or a bound bow spell if you are a mage.

Actually, Giants have a high resistance to magic. And Flesh spells won't help as much.
Always use the bound bow if you have a non-enchanted bow. If you have the Mythic Binding perk from the Conjuration skill (which you should have access to if you have the Bound Bow), the Bound Bow is equal to a Superior-smithed Daedric Bow, not to mention Bound Arrows are equal to their Daedric couterpart.
Though, it's best not to anger a Giant until you are able to take down regular Dragons in less than 4 hits without Dragonrend.

Or you could use the Oghma Infinium Book and get max level, thus making all spells / werewolf / vampire form obsolete, craft the best armor (not that hard), and then just destroy everything.

Or you could just...

So, in Skyrim I was Dragon soul collecting and next thing I know there is something called a legendary dragon and it just absolutely made me into a snack. If you encountered it how did you kill it? I also need tips on killing the ebony warrior -.- .

You don't kill legendary dragons... you run from them.

Seriously now, the legendary dragons appear after you reach a certain level, I think; and they are tough sonsab****s, you'll need a companion and a lot of potions; dragonrend, too, lots of dragonrend. If you don't have a companion you can use storm call, I guess, but you'll need bow and arrow since you won't be able to use dragonrend.
Whatewer you do, it's gonna be a looooong battle.

Bring potions, lots of 'em.

What's that ebony warrior? I've never heard of him before.
