So, in Skyrim I was Dragon soul collecting and next thing I know there is something called a legendary dragon and it just absolutely made me into a snack. If you encountered it how did you kill it? I also need tips on killing the ebony warrior -.- .

You don't kill legendary dragons... you run from them.

Seriously now, the legendary dragons appear after you reach a certain level, I think; and they are tough sonsab****s, you'll need a companion and a lot of potions; dragonrend, too, lots of dragonrend. If you don't have a companion you can use storm call, I guess, but you'll need bow and arrow since you won't be able to use dragonrend.
Whatewer you do, it's gonna be a looooong battle.

Bring potions, lots of 'em.

What's that ebony warrior? I've never heard of him before.

ok, dragon thing I am going to wait on and fully prepare myself with a Dead thrall spell and a storm thrall , and a companion with some death hounds for bait, I have 30 potions that completely heal myself, and 20 potion of ultimate magicka, so I am going to face him when I get those spells

The Ebony warrior just appeared and said that he wanted to face me, next thing I know is that he is making me beg for my life and he stalks me until I am dead, he knocked me off the mountain to my death..... He also is just extreme with the sword that heals him every time he hits you -.- (he eats legendary dragons for breakfast XD) He is like a slimmer version of the black knight from Fire Emblem Radian Dawn for appearance.

I looked it up, the ebony warrior is from dragonborn, that's why I never heard of him. He seems even worse than legendary dragons, and he appears at level 80.
You are in the level cap and even then the legendary dragons are hard? damn.
I can't tell you from experience how to deal with the EW, but it seems to me like you have to use tactics more than brute force: long term poisons, arrows to deliver the poisons, a sword with remove stamina and steal health enchantments, shouts, whirlwind sprint around a lot, if you are a wizard, those awesome combined elemental hadoukens, that sort of things.

A Legendary Dragon can also be easily defeated with Dragonbane. If you haven't found that, god help you.

The Ebony Warrior is basically there to make you feel weak. He has 100% resistance to fire, frost, and shock, and he can use Unrelenting Force and Bend Will. On top of that, not only is he a Redguard, which makes him a natural warrior class, but he has full Ebony gear with resistances to all types of Destruction magic and enchantments, and his armor has 50 or 100% Health Regen, iirc.

In short, he's a tank who'll make you cry. I recommend facing him first when he encounters you, then come back in about 20 levels and just wreck his face off.

@Professorlight: yes I am a mage with high levels in magic, but I am also a Vampire Lord which makes me weak to fire, I cast Guardian Circle spell which is very useful and cast several other spells to boost myself up, but since I am weak to fire it makes it a little more challenging but I have, in retrospect unlimited magika at my disposal, Ebony warrior killed my follower and my summons and my death hounds.... Why does he taunt me so. I try to cast several spells at the ebony warrior but he gains health faster than I can damage him with my combos. He is a tank ready to shove the gun up your butt and pull the trigger XD

@Red Rain: your exactly right but I didn't know he was that resistant to elemental magic -.- and the worse part of it all is that he follows you to the end of Oblivion to kill you which He kill my frost thrall easily which I hate but I did weaken him with the Mark of Death shout so his armor is weakened XD,

Thanks for all the help, it helps a lot :)

Edit: if the dragon breathes Ice I take no damage in the Guardian Circle, but sadly the Legenday Dragon Breathes Fire -.-

How good is your enchanting? perhaps a set of dragonbone/scale armor with resist fire enchantments can help you against the dragons.
For what red rain said, you can't kill the ebony warrior, m*********r is too tough.
Is he chasing you? whirlwind sprint and stamina potions can get you pretty far.
Also, isn't there a "become dragon" shout in dragonborn? and call dragon to get ohdaviing to fight alongside you? those might make some good diversions, plus, awesome battles.

My enchanting is Good I broke down several enchantments so I can add fire resistance that is a good Idea.

My armor consists of:
Archmage Robes- all spells cost 15% less to cast, 100% magicka regeneration, and + 50 magicka

Dragon Priest Mask- 100% magicka regeneration

Dragon boots- muffle, Fire resistance 30%

Ring- water breathing, health regen 75%

Gloves- +50 magika, lockpicking 50%

Transmute spell helps with the rings, so money isn't a problem XD
Souls are easy to get also. Any suggestions to my armor XD
my dagger has soul trap, and I have the staff of magus in my arsenal also.

I am open to suggestions for improvement :)

P.S. My healing spells also heal my stamina XD no stamina potions for me.

I think the best thing is doing a whole new set of armor focusing on fire resistance and magicka regen to use it wit the dragon priest mask. For example, lockpicking, muffle and water breathing are not doing you any favors now, might be better changing them to more useful enchantments.
You'll need lots of enchanting potions, getting those might take a while.

Ok will try thank you for you input :)

Or, for defeating EW, actually get Armor, like Light Armor, and a War Axe. I would recommend Dragonscale armory and a Glass War Axe that has an Absorb Stamina, Absorb Health, or Damage Stamina enchantment.

Yes I finally killed the legendary dragon and the EW, it took a while ,but I finally got a set of Ebony Armor and a new sword :p

Toughest. Battle. Ever. it literally took 15 summon, several guardian circles, and several Blizzards and Fire Storms, a death hound, quest follower, and a regular follower.....I was lvl. 110 XD

I don't want another battle like that :p it was murder every where. He killed a elk running near him and gain health....

Edit: Thank you Professorlight for the plan it worked :)

Edit: Thank you Red Rain, I still kept my light armor , but I had Dragon Armor Boots with muffle which help with hiding and magika regeneration :)

Or yeah. Just use a bunch of scrolls and stuff. That'll work too.
it could've been easier, but I don't feel like repeating myself.

Yeah, could have gotten the axe but the only weapons I use are Bound or my dagger, I am a mage class, I am not that proficient in two-handed weapons :p plus I like all my magic perks which I have none in two-handed weapons ;) , I also don't have a lot of health, so distance is the key with me.

GK, a war axe is one-handed. You're thing of the battleaxe.
Also, anyone here thinking of getting the TES: Anthology pack?

I have the bound axe which with my perks are good-ish, and I am thinking of getting TES: anthology pack.

Got into Skyrim a few years ago. Was a noob at first, but at this moment in time I know quite a bit about it. Put over 200 hours into the game. I must say it's great. Buying Morrowind and Oblivion.

That's great! Starting new or old TES is a great series to pick up. I got started myself back in 2002 with Morrowind for the original Xbox. I still have my Morrowind GOTY, Oblivion 5yr Anniv. Edition, Oblivion Collector's Edition [with replica Septim and Guidebook to Empire], and Skyrim.

As for your time, keep at it hehe. I haven't played Skyrim in a few months now and I sit at a decent 400 hours. For Oblivion I had accumulated well over 1,200+ hours over 4 years. I have about 300 hours for Morrowind.

I am only mildly excited for TES:O not that I don't think it's gonna be a fun game but I just am not as interested in it as I am for the next main TES game even though I'll likely be waiting another 4 years for it to come out.

Just so you folks know I am wagering we will go to Hammerfell, High Rock, or Summerset. [In order of how likely I think it will happen] ;-)

I cannot wait until The Elder Scrolls VI releases. I wonder where it will be? Hammerfell, like you suggested? Who knows... Only the producers... But no matter what I will always be a huge Skyrim fan at heart.

I'd kill to go to Summerset to have a crack at the Thalmor on their home turf. Though, Hammerfell seems interesting,

Wait, we still have to go to the thalmor's turf? Hell yeah! I hate those bastards, and would welcome very much a chance to stick my boot up their asses.
I have a slight tendency to ambush those bastards whenever I run ito a thalmor party in skyrim, the only illegal thing I do.
