Does anyone know if you can play ESO solo if you don't pay for online?
I think that I heard that there are some locations where you have to be solo, so I would think so.

I love Skyrim and am an addict, and I started Obvlion about a year ago. I'm am (well, I haven't been on since news about no more dlcs) on the Bethesda Elder Scrolls forums, under the name MistryssNite. I am unsure about getting ESO, as I've never played mmos and don't know people to play with. If I do get it, I'll probably be an Altmer, the best race!

Since it's a MMORPG, I'd say it's always online and with other people. Oh, and I konw it's monthly payment..

I love RPGs to the death, but I tried neverwinter, which is D&D, and the closest thing to skyrim I could find, and didn't like it.
I think TES online will be more like regulars MMORPGs, rather than like the TES we all know and love. the freedom will be somewhat reduced, the dailies will make your life impossible and the items will not be as varied as we've seen in skyrim.

And guys, guys, I'm not one to link too much to youtube, but I found it the other day and it's awesome:

The Elder Scrolls VI: Equestria

I bet "dragonborn" and max von sydow's voice can make even taking out the trash epic (not that MLP needs that, anyway).

I think you're mistaken. :p The only races worth anything are the Bretons, Imperials, and Dunmer. If you want cocky elves that tend to go power crazy then yes Altmeri win hands down, lol.

I've heard that people play it solo in the first ten levels or so.

Bretons are also okay (because of their magic), but they are short. I think the elves are the prettiest, and yes, I like my elves pretty. Although, the Nords are the prettiest in Obvlion.

I like the Nords and Orcs. Seriously, they had the best racial skills of the races imo, an AoE fear (Nord) and 2x defence and attack (orc). Leel I feel sorry for Khajiit, with their retractable claws that gives +10 damage to your Falcon Punch

Well, did you see that guy who used a nord with the heavy armor perks and the pugilist's gloves to beat the whole game only punching stuff? I saw the video, the guy was so deranged that I closed it, but it did prove that punchs and khajits might not be as bad as they seem. But the small race bonuses are for the better, I think, they give you more freedom to do whatever you'd like with your character; I'm an imperial and I never use the restoration magic bonus, and despite using bows, I don't feel I'm getting the short end of the stick for not choosing dunmer.

I am excited today friends! I got a Beta invite for TES:O and my session starts today! I am under NDA so I won't be able to spoil anything but I'll let you guys know if it's worth all the hype! :D Long Live the Empire!!

I'm jealous. Guys, if Ysmir mysteriously disappears soon, it may or may not be because of the.

So, is anyone going to actually get ESO? If so, which race will you play first? Will you play it on console or PC?

I really have no idea if I'll even buy it, at the moment! If I do I'll probably want to play it on a next generation console, just for the sake of having my games all in the same place.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting it for Xbox One (if and when that goes on sale) because my computer can't even handle Skyrim. Though, it's possible my brother will build me a new computer, so that I can play ESO. I really want to play ESO. It looks so good!

I've heard that ZeniMax has been doing all they can to make TES:O possible to run on virtually any machine made in the last 10 years, actually. :)

Oh, I hope so. My laptop is about 5 years old. I had artifacting issues with Skyrim and can barely run Boarderlands 2. If it does run, I wouldn't be surprised if it was laggy.
