Chapter 6:Round One!
“Ralts is unable to battle! Eevee wins!”
“Yes! We go to the next round! Eevee! Return!”
“ Ralts. Return! I’ll never become the next gym leader at this rate…”
“What do you mean Jason?”
“I’m making a team to try to defeat my dad. I guess I still have a lot of training to do.”
“Don’t worry! You’ll bet him one day!”
*Cali vs Chay*
“Charmander! Scratch!”
“Togepi! Metronome!”
Togepi wagged its little fingers, and it used Confuse Ray.
Charmander spun around a little and looked dizzy.
“Metronome!”
Metronome turned into Shadow Claw and struck Charmander.
“Charmander! Dragon Rage!”
Charmander snapped out of confusion and obeyed.
Togepi rolled across the floor and was knocked out.
“Togepi is unable to battle! Charmader wins!”
“Great match!” Cali said as he returned Togepi.
“Yea. You almost had me!”
*Melissa vs Mary *
“Mary. Are you sure you want to battle?”
“Yes Dawn I’ve seen you battle lots of times.”
“Yea, but those were contest battles!”
“Whatever… Piplup! Go!”
“Duskull! Come on out!”
“Begin!”
“Piplup! Use Bubblebem!”
“Duskull! Shadow Sneak!”
Piplup crashed on to the ground before it was able to get Duskull.
“Night Shade!”
Piplup was stuck again and sent flying.
It crashed into a wall and was knocked out.
“…*sigh*..My turn…”
*Dawn vs Eric*
“Riolu! Force Palm!”
“Pikachu! Thundershock!
They both attack and both were hit.
“Use Quick Attack and then Force Palm.”
Pikachu was hit and was down, barely to stand up.
“Tunderbolt!”
The attack hit Riolu and sent him back a bit.
“Finish it with Copycat!”
Riolu used Thunderbolt and Pikachu fell with a thud.
“Riol is the winner.
*Kiony vs Luis*
“Totodile! Water Gun!
Eevee was hit with the spray of water.
“Eevee! Quick Atrack!”
“Water Gun!”
Eevee was hit with Water Gun at close range and was knocked out.
*Vince vs Davis*
“Duskull! Shadow Sneak!”
“Elekid! Shock Wave!”
Elekid hit Duskull with his attack, but Elekid was also hit.
They had fought for about twenty-five minutes, and were still at it.
“Thunder Punch!”
“Night Shade!
The attacks collided and made a huge explosion.
The smoke cleared a bit and only one figure was standing.
Now!

Most of thse characters may not appear again until later in the story!
So if you don't see your character, don't ask about it.
I got too many characters for them to all join the group and to have them appear every chapter.
I'm only choosing 4-2 characters to join the group.
If your character is not chosen, don't worry!

“Who won?”
“I can’t see!”
“What’s going on?”
The smoke began to fade.
Elekid and Duskull were on the ground.
Both were still up, completely tired.
Then, they both fell down.
“It’s a tie! We shall think of a way too settle this.”
*Kari vs Jim*
“Piplup! Bublebeam!”
“Magikarp! Dodge!”
* FLOP *
Piplup:…XD

“Err…use...Splash!”
* FLOP *
“Piplup. Peck.”
Magikarp was hit and flew back.
Suddenly, it began to glow.
“It’s evolving!”
It continued to glow and grew.
It stopped glowing and became Gyarados.
“Oh…$%*#…”
Gyarados charged at Piplup at top speed.
Piplup stepped to the side, and Gyarados kept going and crashed.
It slammed its head into the wall, making a giant hole.
“Uhh…Gyarados is unable to battle. Piplup wins!”
“Well that was very anti-climatic!”
“The second round will begin soon. Check the screen to see who you will go against. Come back in an hour!
I looked to see who was going to go to the next round.
The screen showed the people in the second round.
Both Luis and I made it. Luis, Melissa, Chay, Eric, and Kari passed.
The judges that watching the battle voted for Davis and Vince to have one more battle.
Vince ended up winning.
I looked on the screen and saw I was going to battle Eric.
Kari would battle Melissa and Vince would battle Chay.
*One hour later*
“We will take you to different rooms in the arena for the battles. Everyone will be watching your battles on the screens.”
“Fine by me.” I said.
Eric and I went to the room where we would battle and went to opposite ends.
“You may begin”, the referee told us.
“Go! Starly!”
“Go! Munchlax!”
“Starly! Wing Attack!”
*Elsewhere*
“Sir, We have the pokemon ready!”
“When can we leave?”
“Right away!”
“Are you sure she as it?”
“Yes. Who else can trust on Blaze Island to keep it safe?”
“Very well. Get the pokemon and head out!”
*Back at the Arena*
“Starly! Finish it with Quick Attack!”
Munchlax was hit and couldn’t take anymore.
“Starly is the winner!”
Melissa won her battle and Chay won his.
Luis got a freebie and passed.
“Come back in about five hours fo the final battles. We need to get some things ready.”
I decided to go to town to buy some supplies.
Kari, and Luis came with me.
We walked around a bit until some lady stopped us.
“Who are you?”
The woman looked up at us.
“Sorry for bothering you, but I’ll need to talk to…” she turned to me “… Josh.”
The man took me into some training place.
“If I’m not mistaken, your Tyson’s brother.”
“Yea. So?”
She grabbed a pokeball.
“I want to challenge you to a battle. Two on two.”
“Err…Okay…”
“I am Ember. I am the first of the Elemental Eight!”
“The Elemental Eight!” repeated Kari.
“I was wondering where the gym leader was. Go! Chimchar!”
“Charmeleon! Prepare yourself!”
The fire lizard sprang out of the ball and gave a small roar.
“If you win, I will give you the Fire Symbol!”
“Okay then. Chimchar! Ember!”
“Charmeleon! Dragon Rage!”
Charmeleon’s attack made quick work of Chimchar’s Ember and hit him.
“Slash!”
“Chimchar! Dodge!”
Chimchar jumped back, but tripped on his own foot.
“Charmeleon! Flamethrower!”
Chapter 7:Round Two
“Who won?”

“What’s going on?”
The smoke began to fade.
