Drama is always a good thing. And if there's one thing that shows in the fanfics on this site, it's drama - good job!

Well...
I was sick for a week,then I was grounded and not allowed on the computer for a month,
then I was gone from home for 3 weeks.
And I did many things durring the end of summer,
Also, I was very busy with the first 2 months of school.

Chapter 8:Surprise Attack! Defend Blaze Island!
“Charmeleon! Flamethrower!”
Charmeleon was about to finish off Chimchar when there an explosion so big it caused the earth to shake.
People were screaming and running.
“What the-”
We ran out into the street and were shocked with what we saw.
Pokemon were rampaging in the city.
A Golem was using Rollout and crushing anything in its path.
A group of Metang was using Meteor Mash on the buildings.
“Oh no!” Ember said.
“We have to do something!” screamed Kari.
“Leave it to me! Go! Chmchar! Use Ember on that sign!”
Chimcar did as it was told, and the sign file on top of Golem.
“Charmeolen! Use Flamethrower on those Metangs.”
The Metang were hit and fell to the ground.
“8 down!”
“Yea. And about five hundred left to go!”
More Pokemon were causing chaos.
Ryhorns were stampeding in the middle of the city and a some Shirfty were blasting away with Razor Leaf. Some people were trying to fight back, but there were just too many.
“Chimchar! Ember!
“Piplup! Whirlpool!”
“Totodile! Bite!”
“Charmeleon! Slash!
We were fighting a very large group of Skarmory and Swellows.
They were about 92 all together.
“Chimchar! Flame Wheel!”
Chimchar crashed through five Skarmory.
The toppled and fell on top of the others.
“Piplup! Bubblebeam!”
Piplup shot the flurry of bubbles and knocked out some of the Swellows.
“Charmeleon! Flamethrower!”
Charmeleon blasted the bird pokemon and burnt them to a crisp.
“Totodile! Ice Fang!”
Totodile jumped onto a Swellow and latched own.
Swellow then went crazy and kept running and flapping it’s wings, which Totodile was biting down on. The other bird pokemon watched with worried looks on their faces.
Swellow finally passed out from all the pain and running and everyone continued to battle.
“I don’t think we can keep this up!”
“How many are left!”
“I’d say at least 70.”
“We only took 22 out!”
“How can that be? We’ve been fighting for 48 minutes!”
“You guys need help?”
Vince rushed into the battle and threw three pokeballs.
“Duskull! Ralts! Snorunt! GO!”
Melissa also came and called out her pokemon.
“All right! Duskull! Beldum! Gible!”
They fought for a bit and brought it down to 25 Skarmory and 18 Swellows.
“Elekid! Shock Wave!”
“Davis!” shouted Victor in surprise.
“Yo.” He said.
Elekid’s attack took down four of the Swellows and three of the Skarmory.
We then sent out all the pokemon we had and finished the job.
“Good job everyone!” Ember told us.
“Yea. But there’s still many more to fight!” said Luis.
“I don’t think our pokemon can handle much more.” Said Melissa.
“Very well. Charmeleon! Can you handle more?”
Charmeleon shot some fire into the air as an answer.
“If Charmeleon can still fight so can we!” I shouted.
Chimchar hopped onto my shoulder and grinned.
Charmeleon took down so many of the pokemon quickly.
What else can you expect from a gym pokemon?
“Charmeleon! Flamethrower!”
Ember was dealing with a Larion while Chimchar and I fought a Golbat.
Then, an Infernape jumped onto a roof of a building. It stared at us for a while, and then jumped down and hit Charmeleon with a Fire Blast.
It turned around and got into a fighting stance.
“What the-”
“Sorry. But I had to get rid of the only real threat.”
“Real threat! Chimchar is strong and has taken down lots of opponents!”
“You think those pokemon were strong. You fool. I’ll show you true power brother!”
“Brother? Wait! You’re-”
