Collecting The English Booster Box "Pull Rates" Thread

Does BREAK cards considered as ultra rare? What are the pull rates for rare holo
And ultra rare for Breakthrough? I'm thinking of buying my first booster box ever lol. Thanks in advance
 
hi all, I am not sure how this occurred prior to the release, but here is a link to a video of 6 Breakpoint booster boxes being opened on YouTube.


So I watched the first box being opened and it had 9 Ultra Rares - 3 Break Cards and 6 Ex cards...

Interestingly, there with 2 packs each with a Break card and Ex card.

Not a bad pull rate I think!

I really like the artwork too!

One of the rare boxes out of the last five years of me buying a box for each new set where I got a "boom" box rather than "bust" one. Although I still didn't get the usual 12 premium cards in this box (Breaks don't count toward that because they're in the reverse holo slot), 3 full arts MORE than makes up for that...

Very, very pleased with the pull rates in Breakpoint so far! Not enough holo variety in this set though
 
What's the best Booster Box? I was thinking about getting Roaring Skies but I want an opinion on pull rates for it.

Wasn't expecting to get all 5 Gyarados in one box. Also not sure if anyone noticed but it seems all holos, exs and full arts come with the old code card design and all non holo rares and break cards come with the new code card design. Haven't seen anyone pull a break and ex/full art in the same pack from Breakpoint yet so I don't know about those but assume they'd have the old code cards.

Also my last 5 packs on the left side went like this M Gyarados FA, holo, M Gyarados Ex, break and holo, back to back to back.

We don't know for sure, but it's believed that that may be an effort to counteract pack weighing. There was a bit of discussion about it here.
 
Pre-ordered a case of Fates Collide, anyone know about the pull rates for a sealed case?
Haven't bought a whole case, but I'm excited for it!
Every time I buy a single box mine usually is the one with 1 FA or none :/

When I went through the set list to see which holos I was missing and if I had any holos as RHs perhaps, I was stunned to see that there were only 5 holos in the whole set (Zygarde and Lugia had both gotten downgraded to non-holo rares for the English set), so I guess I got them all. No wonder the EX/M/BREAK pull rates were so good!

I picked up a few more EXes and another FA in my ETB and pin blister earlier as well, so overall I'm pretty happy with my haul this set. Sure, my box wasn't as super amazing as some of the others that I've seen, but it's a hell of a lot better than my last English box (4 EXes and 0 FAs in PCL), so I feel more or less confident about buying future boxes for sets that I like a lot, even if I prefer English cards overall.

This is not where you post single pack pulls, but I in general, get better stuff from single packs.
 
Today I opened a second Fates Collide box, my boxes seem to have a common theme. In the first box all the full arts were poorly miscut, in this one they are poorly faded as though they were at the end of the ink roller just before it was changed, maybe a bit too late.


Anyways I got average pulls, unfortunately I got mostly duplicates, I even got 36 duplicate reverses....
