just like the cards only one down fall you cant get the whole set in foil.

Its ridiculous America wastes so much on packaging. The white/black kyurem BOXES???? They could easily be a thin carboard or plastic (recyclable) box w figure and 4 packs + promo alll together. They waste so much space just spreading it out as much as possible and advertising....wasteful.
I am thinking of getting a Japanese box, what set would you reccomend ?

Getting the most recent (BW9) will probably be the cheapest and easiest to find, so if cost is a major factor (or 1st edition availability), I'd say go for that. Otherwise, if you're looking at other BW sets, I'd take a look at the card lists and figure out which one has the Pokémon and cards you like most! From a collector's perspective, I'd suggest you go for a double set over a single set. Buying a single box of each set in a double sets gets you a good way through completing the set and guarantees no duplicates of holo/EX cards. Whereas, buying 2 boxes of one of the larger single sets typically means you get some duplicates and the set is harder to complete, and only buying 1 box is a much smaller chance of getting the cards you want. However, older sets will be harder to find and more expensive as well.
Just opened 6 of the new premium card packs (black/white kyurem, and N) with the following results:
1x EX (registeel)
1x SR (N FA)
1x ACE SPEC
19x holos
This was from 48 packs of cards... I'm very happy with the N FA 1ED, but the rest is bleh. Much worse pull rate than a box for me.
Also, I've opened approximately 100 packs of BW4 1ED at this point and have not gotten a single SR/UR pull. What the heck is with BW4?

I bought the Reshiram and Zekrom EX boxes. I also got a 1st Ed N but nothing good from BW4.
I saw a box go for 30$ from Brianjapan... They are only 18$ ish in Japan... He also charges 10$ shipping so you're paying 40$ for a 16-20$ box... Not worth it.
