BW/BW2 The Future Games Speculation Thread

Remakes of Ruby and Sapphire will happen! I'm 95% positive! A lot of pokemon fans are waiting for it. I did not notice it before, but the Diamond and Pearl Pokemom Centers have a giant Pokeball on the floor and it is GOLD and SILVER. Could that have possibly been a hint of HeartGold and SoulSilver? If so, then will Black and White do the same?

It was a thought :p they should though, because all the new DS's coming out are without GBA slots, so more and more people have less access to Generation III games. As for LeafGreen and FireRed, I have no idea what they'll do about them.

Firered and Leafgreen are covered with Heartgold and Soulsilver. Besides, they probably won't make a remake of a remake.

That's true, although the Kanto region is more.....defined, should I say? In LeafGreen and FireRed. Some things were cut out, some routes shorter, Mt. Moon is shorter, etc. in HeartGold and SoulSilver and Gold/Silver/Crystal. In my opinion, it's better to go through the Kanto region in LeafGreen/FireRead or Red/Blue/Yellow.

Oops, I meant FireRed.

True, but with all the 4th generation games we can get all the Pokemon. We would need Platinum and one of the Johto remakes to get them all.

i really hope the will make a ruby and shapphire remake (Roasting Ruby and Soaked Shapphire) and a black and white remake (Grey)

About the whole 'Gen 5 is a Gen 1 reimagination' it's more that pokemon games have certain niches which similar pokemon fill, such as the 'Early Electric', Pikachu, Mareep, Manectric, Shinx and Blitzle, the well known ComMon birds and rodents, early opposing insects and such. Due to different landscapes, different gens use only some niches, mixes some or create new ones.

Gen 5 just hits more of 1's than 2-4s or creating it's own.

Also, the Tao Dragons are a mix of three niches from what is known, the Box Art Legendaries of Gen 2, the 'Inclusive Master Trio' of Gen 3(Unless there is a Gen6 retcon like Lugia) and possibly the original birds due to the classic RPG typing trio.

I have played the generation 3 games that are the best from graphics point of view. The color combination is remarkable that attract the person to play these games . I suggest you to try at once if you never played these games .

Not really. The GBA has a limited colour pallet in comparison to the NDS, and it shows. Some Pokemon, especially in FireRed/LeafGreen, look either too dark or too light due to technical difficulties.

Blastoise is a great example.

Future games? Well then, I predict that Ruby/Sapphire remakes will be amazing. :D I don't care if I'm one of the apparently twenty-something people who liked that generation.

Wouldn't it be cool if the fighting trio/quad group got an antagonist that was fire/fighting and he was this big guy who was strong against terrakion, virizion, and cobalion (because of the typing fire>steel, grass, and fighting>rock). And that is why Keldeo has to come and save the other three from the fire guy because he is water. This was typed in a hurry so sorry if it's confusing.

There weren't 5 members of the 3 Musketeers (Keldeo represents the 4th member). Although, your idea could represent a villain (idea?)

That's what i'm saying, a villain (I meant Keldeo was the 4th of the quartet, not the fire type)
