BW/BW2 The Future Games Speculation Thread

It's true...Kanto has been in every Generation so far.....So, It's most likely we will see Kanto sometime here in 5th Generation.... If we do, They will either remake FireRed, and LeafGreen, or put Kanto into the 3rd Version to Black and White, or Put Kanto along with Hoenn in the Ruby and Sapphire Remakes.

(Ah I WANT MY R/S REMAKES!! *hulk SMASH*)

Anyway, would they really remake a remake? I guess it's bound to happen sometime, but, what would they be called? I swear someday we're going to have a game that just combines all regions and it will be called: SwirlyColorsMixedWithKantoJohtoHoennSinnohUnovaAndSparkles
A remake of a remake...I shall consider thee

I think we're going to get Kanto Legends in the third game, and/or boat/air travel to the Kanto region. Kanto is going to return and you people KNOW it.

I highly, highly doubt that they will start making remakes of games they have already remade. Not only is that a total waste of time, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't do well in the market. And I just can't wrap my head around why they would feel the need to remake RSE.

Anyone want to speculate why you think a remake of RSE would be appropriate? I think they are bound to remake everything at some point, but at least not anytime soon. We didn't see remakes of Gold/Silver for a long time.

We saw GS remakes 10 years after GS.
It's been about 10 years, believe it or not, since RSE.

If they do make remakes of RS i hope they will put back the feature where your pokemon follow you and they probably wont make a remake of emerald cuz they didn't remake crystal but maybe they will remake R S

I hope they remake RSE its my fav region and has the best starters. I did like the pokemon following in HGSS but considering they didnt put it in BW they might have just scrapped the idea completely... They will either do remakes of Ruby and Sapphire, or Emerald where, after u defeat Hoenn, u go bak to Unova with an epic storyline about Kyurem.

before the ruby and saphire remakes is going to come pokemo grey after all it is a tradition to make a 3rd game for every reigon as of proof i have ( the question marks indicate we are not positive of pokemon grey)

Yellow
Crystal
Emerald
Platinum
???

I think that the idea of your Pokemon following you will be back in the remakes of R/S because I think it will become a staple in Pokemon remakes. :p

IIRC, in 2013 it will have been 10 years since the release of Ruby and Sapphire, so that's when I expect remakes. I'm under the impression that Game Freak doesn't need to remake Ruby and Sapphire for DS because you can obtain the Pokemon in Gen 4 and 5 through the Pal Park/whatever the fifth generation version is called. This makes me think the third version for BW and/or Gen 6 will be for the 3DS only and so will the RS remakes, and possibly a Blue remake.

maybe but how come you only mention a blue remake why not?
This is just a guess but is it because red was basically remade in fire red?

Because Red and Green were remade and not Blue, IIRC, it was the third version in Japan.

We need a sequel to Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness.

Maybe it could be for a handheld, and it would include Pokémon from all Gens.
I would really love to see the Shadow Pokemon Mechanic again...
And since Orre was based on Phoenix,Arizona, this time it could be based on a place in either Canada or Mexico... (Hope so)
I would defenitely do anything for a game like that. :p

(...Yeah, I know this was not a really good spectaculation...)

Yes, Generation 3 Pokemon can transferred to Generation 4 Pokemon Games, And Then to Generation 5 Pokemon Games. But with the Nintendo DS Lites slowing up on their production, If you don't already have an original Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite, It's kinda hard to transfer your Generation 3 Pokemon to Generation 4 because those are the only two Nintendo DS Systems with a Game Boy Advance Slot.
Plus, Hoenn is the only region not on the Nintendo DS. If they were to remake Ruby and Sapphire remakes on the Nintendo DS, That would make every region accesible on the Nintendo DS. :D

RS actually came out in Japan in Nov. 2002. :3

Late 2012...I'd think that would seem about right. I'm wondering when Nintendo'll announce a third version for BW, though.

There was a game announcement at Worlds 2010, it was nothing big, just the english version of HGSS, but you never know. So, I'm waiting for Worlds to come around and see what happens.

I'd prefer to see an Emerald remake rather than Ruby/Sapphire remakes... Emerald was much better than the pair...

Assuming they do get remade, it will be more like two Emeralds, like how HGSS were very similar to Crystal.

Actually, I'm sticking with my theory that they will be sequels to the originals. I'm sure it's been brought up, but RBY and RSE happen at the same time, and 3 years later GSC and DPPt happen. But BW happen about 14 years after that. So far, only gens with the same time period could trade (the first two gens could transfer through a time machine), and anything from 3rd gen's original location in BW says something like "Arrived after a long journey through time." Maybe I'm over analyzing all of this, but I think will get sequels to RSE with a new plot.

Next Year in October 2012, Ruby and Sapphire will be 10 Years old in Japan,(Not trying to sound like a Smarty)I wonder too when will they annouce a 3rd Version to Black and White becuase The 3rd Version would really be due Next Year but it will also be Ruby and Sapphire's 10th anniversary and the Remakes should also be due Next Year as well.

@teeboy23 That makes sense, I hope that is true.

I will look forward to worlds for maybe a preview of some sort as someone has said.
