BW/BW2 The Future Games Speculation Thread

Basculin is something, I suppose, but Reshiram's fire and Zekrom's thunder don't really have to do with much. The fire would already be red, and blue looks cooler than yellow (in this situation, I mean), contrasts better with red, and supports the whole opposites things.
 
About the whole Hoenn thing.... It would make so much more sense to make Ruby and Sapphire remakes separate games from these sequels. Nintendo would make tons more money that way. I know, you all want the Ruby and Sapphire remakes, but I bet that there was speculation that Platinum would be in Johto back when there was little information about that. Maybe there wasn't, but I think I have proven my point. But don't worry, I'm 94.9% sure that we will see remakes this generation.
 
Should I point out another inevitability?

You see, it's possible that we will get a 3D Pokemon game. Battle Revolution was a bit lackluster in my opinion, so I hope that the next 3D Console game will have:

• Stadium 2's mini game feature, including the ability to use your Pokemon from the game.
• The fact it will be a Wii U launch title game.
• Compability to use your copies of Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black, White, and their sequels.
• Improved online play. (I hated waiting for years to get a battle.)
• DS compatibility to play against your opponent with another DS.

That better be in there.
 
I'm hoping the minigames stay far away, really. They always felt really out of place in a battle simulator game (and they weren't really any good, either - the attractions in the PokéPark games are much, much better!)...

The things I want from the next 3D battle sim would be (apart from the obvious like 5th Gen Pokémon etc)...
- More customization options
- Less pricey clothes and accessories
You needed, what, 100k points to buy the ones available in the store in Battle Revolution - it was a pain...
- A fully explorable main hub area (with menus for those who don't want to walk around too much)
This is probably the main thing I felt Battle Revolution was lacking - mostly because I always wanted to explore Pokétopia (it looks like such an amazing place, yet we see so little of it)!! It could be filled with NPCs, maybe even NPCs of real trainers you've battled against, they could fill it with random events of various sorts and it would give you something to do when you feel like taking a break from the battles.

Also, I hope they can update it to include protagonists from future games after its release - I'm probably the biggest Lyra fan in the world, so I was a little disappointed when Battle Revolution did not support the protagonists of HG/SS...

To point out, HeartGold and SoulSilver was not released, and it relies on the 4th Generation Engine.
 
I think we will get a WiiU Pokemon Ranger game (to utalise the touch screen and graphics), an Emerald remake (insted of RS, because of BW2) and a mystery dungeon for 3DS. More Smash Bros. and an all new spinoff. New Battle rev.
 
Yeah, we need a main-stream Pokemon game on the 3DS already. Any Kanto-remake, be it Blue, Red, or Yellow, would be appropriate after they make B2/W2 and the R/S/E remakes. I would like to annihilate Lance with my lv.100 Haxorus and Blaziken.

Yeah.. besides, we've had Kanto every generation so far, so why not now?
That aside, I want to see remakes of either Colosseum, XD Gale of Darkness, or both. I miss being able to get Psycho Boost Lugia and capturing other people's Pokemon... Plus we may be able to get Celebi without an event for once *coughnevercough*
 
I'd love a remake of Collisium. Competitively speaking, there are a few moves there that are now difficult to obtain, such as Helping Hand Togepi/Togetic. Suprisingly, Togekiss never got HH as a 4th Gen tutor move.

Also, a 3DS version of pokemon pinbball. I can just imagine what it would look like. Besides, the pinball games were actually pretty fun.

Naah, then people wouldn't buy the cards. If they put so few cards on it that they would still have to buy the real cards, then it would have too many limits. It could be great if they pulled it off right, though.
On another topic, I want Black and White 2 to have:
A better post-game
More pokemon early on (seriously, over half my team I got after Castelia)
Battles with N and the Protagonist from the original B/W
Legendaries from other regions. Gen 3 and onwards it was possible to get every non- event Pokemon between all the games, and Hoenn can't have THAT many legendaries.
 
Well the card game will always be very popular the game wouldn't change anything and I think your ideas on Black and white 2 are great I'd love to get a latios in there
 
Yu-Gi-Oh's released video games with full access to cards, and yet they still make plenty of money.

I'm not saying it won't. It's hard to predict the future. Even I have a hard time. Depending on how it's done, either it could be a big hit, or it could flop. HOWEVER, I have just thought of a major advantage: You could connect and play using Wifi! I just thought of that, just now.
 
This words "different story" really got me excited. I have a many reasons why, but I'll say the main ones. I have a feeling it'll have to do something with N. I can't wait for the new sprites, the new clothes the main character will have, especially the two legends. I'm struggling right now, Black Zekrom or White Zekrom, for me it's 50/50. I don't know which one I'm getting, I'll have to look at the exclusives when they come out. This time when it comes out, I'm going at a slow pace. I'm exicted what can I say.

Chill, dude. 5th gen isn't over yet. There's still time for a PMD and a Ranger AND an XD/Colosseum type game.

I was thinking that MAYBE, just maybe B2/W2 could tie in with the whole "Disturb not the harmony of Fire, Ice and Lightning" thing from the 2nd movie. I mean, Ghetsis and N kinda look like the villain from that, what with the long green hair and all. Maybe it could refer to Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem, because they have those same types, but there's something I find much more likely. On the West side of Unova, there are 3 mountains, and on the East side, there's one BIG mountain, which happens to be right next to the ocean. I was thinking that the Kanto Bird Trio could be on the 3 Western Mountains, while Lugia could be on the Eastern Mountain. Maybe it could be kind of an after-game plot, with Ghetsis trying to get the 3 birds so he can awaken the "Beast of the Sea"..
