RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/2/11

In fact, here's another Overseer, if you want her.

Name: Flagellovici (Whipmaster)
Age: 33
Gender: Female
City: Driftveil

Appearance: Flagellovici looks very masculine, with bulging muscles and her buzz cut crimson hair. Her voice is deep and intimidating, striking fear in all who hear it. She carriers a six foot spiked whip coiled in her hand at all times, along with some other nasty weapons including a mace and a belt full of throwing knives. She wears a brown leather vest with Clay's sherrif badge crudely pinned on. She wears a permanent scowl and frequently whips villagers who do not bow quickly enough in her presence.

History: Flagellovici was raised in Driftgveil City, and had always admired the gym leader, Clay. Her dad had died when she was young and she hated her mom, so Clay was like a father figure for her. She became a great Pokemon trainer under his influence, and eventually defeated all eight gyms in Unova, although she never defeated the Elite Four (despite many attempts). When Team Plasma came first, she mainly ignored them, defeating any grunts who passed her way. However, the second time they rose to power, she was defeated by "R" himself in battle. After this happened, she began to be more positive towards Pokemon liberation. She slaughtered Clay when he tried to make her see reason, and she wears his badge as a reminder. She is loyal to none, and plans to overthrow "R" if she ever gets the chance. She hungers only for power and will stop at nothing to obtain it, no matter what the consequences are.

How they rule (are they unfair? Tax everyone? etc): Flagellovici rules cruelly, whipping anyone who disobeys her. If the "crime" is large enough, she will publicly whip that person to death. She charges an obscene amount of money to let the bridge down in order for other people to enter the city (although now it's more of a wasteland), and an even larger amount to let them back out. She will demand money from citizens all the time, for the sole purpose of enjoying their pain and despair. She loves power, and always craves more of it. She is brutal, powerful and merciless.

Never mind, I can't make a form with my computer situation.

Oh, and NEW TOPIC! (since we're losing activity.)

What RPG Project ideas are you currently having? If you have none, please give feedback on the others.

Well, I was thinking that it may be cool to make an Adventure Time RPG, since the possibilities are pretty much endless. Unforunately, I'll probably have to save this idea for next summer.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

I like it, Nabby. Very intimidating and brings a good challenge into the game: crossing the bridge.

Aggs, Adventure Time RPG ftw! I call being Party Pat

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Hey guys. I have this RPG i've been working on for a while now. Im kinda scared that no one will sign up so I've had it saved as a draft forever. How do you get over this feeling that no one will like it?

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Just post it and see if someone will join. That's probably the only way. What's it about?

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

It's kinda cheesy. Well I can't really explain it? Im trying to take the you have power and your a warrior RPG and transform it into somthing beautiful.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Post what you have saved as a draft and I will give you feedback on it. Usually what makes me want to join an RPG is a good story line. Something that looks like it had work put into it. If it just has a paragraph of story, I usually pass.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

See thats the thing, Im too scared to past all of it here so i'll PM it to you.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Please welcome Zyflair! And Ice_Master, you shouldn't feel free to express ideas here. I won't tolerate discrimination anyways. Only feedback.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

I shouldn't feel Free to post.....lol.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Aggie, that's not nice. XD

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Darn the iPhone auto-correct system!!!!!

Oh, and thank you shampoo, I was thinking that the players could possibly have two characters, one from the series, and another made by yourself. That way we could inject some creativity.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

I have about 5 RPG's I'm working on, although none of them are near being finished. I think as a group we should concentrate on Shampoo's RPG (or one RPG in general) and then try to make the storyline/characters/everything near perfect. Then we can get like 10 active players for it, then focus on the next one. Instead of having like 5 decent RPG's, we could focus on seperate ones and improve the overall quality of RPG's in this forum.

Just an idea.

Well, that shouldn't be a group project, it should be shampoo's project. If anything, set it up through PM in order to gain secrecy or whatnot.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

We could start throwing ideas for the base of a RPG.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Can you guys take a look at my Ranger RPG,and tell me what I'm doing wrong and stuff?

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

What needs looking at? The OP, the way you run it, etc.

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

Anything. BTW this is kind of a n00by question, but was does OP mean?

RE: .:The Guild: A Roleplayer's Paradise:.New Topic-7/26/11

On Nabby's sugestion: Focusing on just one RPG for the entire group is difficult. We all have our own tastes, really, though we could try for majority and appeal to as many people as possible. Also, I tend to prefer lower numbers of players (5-7 is ideal) because most stories I've read, or RPG's I've played rarely ever go for many more at one party. If we want to imporve the quality of the RPs, we just spend more time and effort on them. Simple as that. You can discuss the RP and its direction constantly during the RP itself, rather than planning just the beginning/overall plot. That way, the next sections ahead wouldn't be so dark and impromptu.

I took a look at the Ranger RP. The plot includes the background, but then it throws in a kidnapping out of nowhere. Personally, I feel that the kidnapping should happen in the RPG rather than being stated in the plot because you thrown them in a scenario that they had no choice in. But BrokenICE has a point: what exactly do you want comments on?
