RE: .:The Guild: A RolePlayer's Paradise:.Taking Members!
This was the main premise:
~Story~
After a war devastated the North American land, a new land rose from the ashes. This land, was named Panem. Panem was an evil place that used terror and hunger to reign. Panem was then split up into 13 districts, each supplying some kind of good or force to the Capitol, the main hub of Panem rule.
A short time after this, the districts revolted against the Capitol, angry at the conditions they were forced to live under. As an example of the Capitol's power, they bombed District 13, and the District of 13 was presumed destroyed.
Not suffice with this act of terror, the Capitol created the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games showed the Capitol's brutality and power. Two children from each district, a boy and girl, were forced to compete in a fight to the death, making a total of 24 contestants. Each year, the Hunger Games would take place, and many officials from the Capitol would go to each District to randomly draw the names of the tribunes.
Many districts during this time were starving to death, and could barely survive on the meager scraps they had. Seeing this, the Capitol came up with tesserae, a way to further manipulate the citizens. In order to receive extra food for their families, the children from 12 to 18 who entered could enter their names multiple times. In return for this, they would receive more food.
This is the story of you. The 24 tribunes. You will be forced to kill other children, even the other from your same district. Not complying with this will end in your termination along with your family.
May the odds be ever in your favor.
~Rules and Explanations~
There are 24 spots to fill in this RPG. The form looks like this:

District:

Number of Times Name Entered for Tesserae:
Backstory:
Special Skill (Be reasonable!):
Once you sign up and you have been given the ok, you may post in the RPG ONCE WE HAVE ALL 24 SPOTS!
We will be starting on the day of the reaping. Once your name is drawn, you will be charted off in the train with your fellow tribune. Once you arrive at the Capitol, you will be training hard, and doing interviews. On the night before you enter the Arena, you will be given a score out of 12. The higher score you get, the better gifts you will receive in the Arena.
When you enter the Arena, you are on your own. You may, however, form alliances with people once inside, but remember, these alliances won't last long. The very first thing you must do is rush to the Cornucopia to grab a weapon, medicine, or food. I will give a list giving all the objects in the Cornucopia once we get there, and the very first person to post and choose their weapon gets it.
Now, the fun part. When you encounter someone, you will naturally try to kill them. Since I know you won't voluntarily die, I'll pick off the person that has been hurt the most. You can try to be evasive, but you will always have to venture out to find food.
Health: Each time you fight, you will be losing health. Please don't cheat and say that everything misses you. You are not eternal. I will keep score of Health.
Hunger: You have a Hunger of 50. Each time you post, you lose -1 Hunger. In order to satisfy your Hunger, you must eat something. You may have gotten food from the Cornucopia, or you may have hunted on your own. Each time you eat something, your Hunger will be completely replenished. If your Hunger falls to 0, you die.
Events: As your Head Gamemaker, I try to make this game fun. I will be randomly throwing obstacles at you that hinder you. Each time I do this, one person will automatically be hurt, and that person will be chosen by random. The others have the ability to avoid it.
Map: Once we start the Hunger Games, I will provide a map of the Arena.
Hunting: You may hunt somethings, but only in certain windows of time. In random hours of the day, I will post saying that a certain animal is available. If you hunt it during that time, you will be rewarded with more food.
Winning the Game: You win if you are the last person alive. Simple, right?
Ok, I think I've explained the rules enough. Remember, no godmodding, no swearing, no cheating.
