Oh, yes. We have those battles. When you just so happen to get the best hand possible and you obliterate your opponent on the first turn.

Anyhow, discuss your best PTCG moment, and why glory is to be deserved for it.

Mine? Well, I was playing an Infernape MD/Typhlosion MT variant. Hand: Roseanne's, Rare Candy, Typhlosion MT, Delcatty PK, Pachirisu GE, {R} Energy. Pachirisu GE'd for Chimchar, Skitty and a Cyndaquil.

Then I draw a {R} Energy. Perfecto! Candy the Typhlosion. Energy Draw the {R} Energy I just drew, and got another Candy, a Dusk Ball and a {R} Energy. Dusk Ball'd for an Infernape, Candy'd, and attached the Energy. Firestarter onto the Infernape, Retreated Pachirisu, and Mega Bravo for 80 damage. BOOM! Roseanne's Research the next turn for two {R} Energy, and just Energy Draw'd for most of the match. Got the second Infernape out two turns later, and simply Firestarter'd, Retreated for nothing, and Mega Bravo'd. Over. And over. And over again.

Loved that deck.
 
I have a few:
1. Got 180 dmg first turn FTW with Shuppet Donk. Pwn'ed
2. Got a T2 Fire Spin with Heatran Lv.X burn on Speedrill at Worlds last year
3. T1 Win ageinst SP with Machamp.
4. Killed my opponent's only basic on T1 without using Fade Out with Shuppet donk using Crobat/Poke Turns/Poke Blowers. Pwn'ed

And the one that I got pwn'ed in:
Using Shuppet Donk I got stuck behind a Spirtomb wall T1-T3 and he got out a Flygon Lv.X with 3 energy and killed my only Pokemon, Mr. Mime
 
I have on too.

My opponents only pokemon was a combee. THey went first. Nothing.
My turn, I have blaziken FB active. Energy, Energy Gain, Crobat; Flash bite. Second crobat. PokeTurn and Flash bite again. Vapor Kick for KO.
Game, set, match.


However, Ive had plenty of T1 Losses. CoughMachampcough.
 
Dude. That Combee deck must've been an SD...:p Nice win!

I hate T1 losses, especially when you go first and you can't Candy or BTS or ANYTHING! X|
 
Haha ok so I've got a couple good ones. One was testplaying, but w/e.

I was testing an abomasnow rogue deck and it worked pretty well if it had a couple of turns to set up. Ok well he started with a garchomp, and I a snover. I went first, no extra basics...he goes, egain, attach, flash bite, poke turn, flash bite, bite ftw... =[

So we set up again, this time, I start with a lone eevee...I bet you can guess what happened after a little cyrus'ing and sp radar'ing... =[

BUT against the same player, in a BR match to decide who made top cuts, I was playing salamence/garchomp. I had a salamence set up, sf btw, a luxray gl, and a garchomp on the bench as well. Something dumb, but threatening, active, he ko'd it with ninetails mt w/ expert belt. I promoted salamence, lvl up, KO for 3 PRIZES!!!. He revenge kills with another ninetails with expert belt. I send up garchomp, restore sally with 3 energy. He retreats ninetails because he knows what's about to happen. He hits garchomp with something, I draw, warp point, lvl up my luxray, bring up the ninetails with EB, retreat to sally, lvl up (yes I play 2 sally x) and ko for my other 3 prizes! =D happy day oh happy day.
 
Did like 340 damage to a Mr. Mime w/ Gengar X one time against a shuppet donk.

I went 1-6 in prize count against Lady Gaga and was playing Gechamp...epicu failaru!
 
Hmm, one time an opponent's Gengar did 240 damage after using 4 Crobat/Poke Turns on Gyarados for 280 damage total.

One time, I came back from being down five prizes against an SP deck.

Of course, the moment I remember most in the play where I won Regionals but it wasn't exactly amazing or anything.

I think my worst moment in the TCG was against Alaym R in Sudden Death in Top 16 of Nationals. I set two Beedrills up and he has ditto out. He used Lock Up on my Azelf and I flipped Super Scoop Up heads. I picked Uxie up. If I had picked Azelf up I would have won without question because I would have attached the Unown G to Uxie and he would needed 5 Crobats to KO my Rising Rivals Beedrill and he'd already used one and two Poke Turns on my Azelf. I don't know what would happened Game three but losing like that in Top 16 to the guy who becomes the National Champion seriously sucks, especially when my prizes the first game are two Beedrill, 2 Weedle, Azelf and I think Kakuna. T_T
 
I have one that hurt alot.
I was in the finals of a CC a few weeks ago and was playing gechamp against shupet.
Hand was:gastly,candy,machop,candy,machamp,gngar,and fighting nrg.
I went first so i had the macop active with gastly benched, he had a crobat g lone, I attached and passed he roseanned for a shuppet and a spiritomb retreats to spiritomb and locks me for seven turns until he faded out for 90 dmg.
it was the worst moment I had in the TCG by far.
 
^^Why wouldnt you start with Gastly and just pitch dark him constantly so they cant do anything? I mean spiritomb will lock you also but then like when its done YOU could just like keep trainer locking it.
 
one time my friend told me he ko'd all 6 of his opponents pokemon with tyrantitars spinning tail isn't that awsome!
 
i was playing HoPe against some deck, T1 i have shuppet+belt+psychic+crobat+double poketurn to KO a lone blaziken FB =D. i did this after uxiying for 7 and startng with my one shuppet and 1 of three psychics xD
 
I have a Dialga G start with an SP Energy, a {P} Energy, and an Energy Gain in my hand. My opponent has a lone Dialga PT #5 out. I go first. I Deafen. He has nothing. I make the stupid mistake and I Deafen after Energy Gain and an SP Energy attach. He has nothing. I Deafen. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!? He pulls a POV and starts to set up some annoying Duskulls and Dusknoirs. He came back to haunt me, no pun intended. I would lose with a Prize Card left. X|

Celebi: Don't you hate those moments? "Aw, MAN! I should've done this before!" *facepalm*
 
I was up against my friend's Sceptile deck with my (currently dismantled) Muktank deck. I went second.

He had a single Treecko out and no energies.

I drew a Grimer, a few energies, a Bebe's Search, a Rare Candy, a Skuntank G, and a Honchkrow G. I led with Honchkrow, played Grimer, evolved to Muk after Bebe-ing and Rare-Candy-ing the Grimer, played Skuntank G, and grabbed a stadium with Honcho's Command. The next turn I attached another energy to Muk, played Moonlight Stadium, retreated to Muk, used Poison Structure, and attacked for 30. The turn after that I attached another energy to use Strange Sludge, damaging for 70 each turn and poisoning every Pokemon he'd send out with Skuntank. I got rolling.
 
I was playing my SD Cherrim rogue at CCs like two weeks ago. I am just like lucksacking against this guy, doing things like managing to KO his Dialga G with my Flareon that's in the deck just for that purpose. The funniest part was when I Cosmic Powered to darw ONE card,a nd I top-decked a 2nd Poke Drawer + lol. :D However in the end he actually beat me by getting another Dialga G out. I guess he's 6th best senior in the state for a reason.

Here is one, going first with a Sableye against Gastly and attaching a Dark Energy. Overconfident for the game!
 
Hahaha, that's so epic. Here's one from...what. 2 Nats ago?

My Mercury without Scizor ex UF, against a Shiftry ex CG deck.

Field: her Seedot CG, two other Seedot's Benched. My lone Ralts d DF.
My hand: a bunch of cruddy cards, Rare Candy, Gardevoir ex d DF, Celio's.

I go first, attach an Energy, and pass. She drops the Candy and Skill Hack's my Gardy ex d DF for 80 and the game.

My complaint? I didn't shuffle well enough. What did she pull from the box of cards and stuff? An Espeon. What the heck?
 
Okay, so i was playing a fossil deck with kabutops PA for fun one day, and my neighbor was playing some form of evolution deck :p (i think it was Blaziken). And during the game he had taken 3 prizes becouse i couldn't get setup (i prized my uxie AND claydol!! XD) but when i managed to get set up i took 3 prizes then he KOed my active Kabutops. Then i top-decked the 2nd pokedrawer, searched for 2 rare candy, attatched a cyclone energy switching his weak active pokemon, candied to Kabutops and Omastar, devolving ALL of his bench (which was already damaged), and attacked taking the last 3 prizes in one fell swoop! :D.
