I say it is easier to see a log in another's eye than a dust mote in your own.

We can point out the wrongs in them, but can we truly look at ourselves and see our own characteristic flaws?

I say that we cannot continue to feed the fire.

That's why all people need to exist alongside eachother in peace, to point out our flaws while we point out theirs. Most people are just too afraid to point out other people's flaws.

As it says; the wise grow all the wiser when corrected.

This hypocritical liberal can dish out whatever crud she wants without supporting her "facts", but she's not going to do it without protesters. God, I mean, seriously, this is the biggest load of crud I have ever read! Thank you, Jared, for posting this. I needed a good laugh.

For one, she is preforming Satanist practices herself, by throwing these comic books into the fire. If these comic books are really the devils writing, isn't she appeasing the devil, then, by sacrificing these? Also, her niece spent very good money on those things. You can't just throw them away. I guess money is evil now, huh?

HENTAILLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLL. I guess any children's show nowadays can be considered hentai.

A 6 year old reading Winnie the Pooh? By the time I was 6, I was reading real books by real authors. You know, Orwell, Twain, things that are OVER 10 words.

Metapod is not powerful. If she wasn't so ignorant she might've known that.

Once again, this is a hypocritical liberal who's disguising herself as a Christian Republican so she can show off her ignorant beliefs and turn people into Satanists. God, I can't say enough on this subject! I could spend all day bashing this jerk, but I won't. I'll let the rest of the good Pokemon fans do that =D

Edit: I just read, and yeah, this person is dead. I'm sorry for the people who believed them, because they've lost a "leader". As for the person, I think that they have ended up right with the thing they believed in most. Go ahead and take a wild guess which one of the two that is.

This whole article reeks of Landover Baptist. Not necessarily from the same people, but in the same manner and with the same intentions. I'm sure that some of the article may very well be true, but I refuse to believe that anyone could be that poorly informed by doing any research on the matter, which the poster obviously did for the information.

Most of it is just extreme exaggeration and completely far-reached theories and similarites between Pokemon and things that are obvious contraversy right now. Muslims, homosexuality, and throwing in the obvious Christian undertone, makes it fairly obvious that none of it is meant to be taken very seriously.

In any case, it's definitely worth reading for laughs, but I wouldn't take any of it too seriously.

[For the record, I didn't bother reading everything in this thread, so I'm sure my views have been mentioned before already by other people. But still.]

I posted a comment under the name "Star".

For anyone who didn't know or didn't read the comment, the creator of the article died recently. I gave my condolences.
I mean, he may have had some untrue theories, but he was still a person.

I also gave a reason for our comments defending pokemon.
I think this should be the last comment. Sure, we've defended pokemon but to what end? The person you were calling a person is dead. =/

I say that if you post anymore comments, give your condolences..
Well, that's my opinion anyway...

I see I'm not the only person who defended Pokémon! :p

I'm not posting to defend Pokémon anymore. I'm posting really for religious reasons, now. (I'm not going into detail further).

LOL: @ Xander: Extreme exaggeration could be one of the understatements for the year. XD

I just checked out the "article", and I've noticed some Pokebeach members are posting there. Please be careful of what comments you guys make.

^Ya don't say :/

If the author is dead, we should let this thread die as well. Just because someones a fanatic, doesn't mean they can't be shown respect.

Does anyone even know what he died of? I'm really ticked at my friend! I got on pokebeach at his house and forgot to log out and he posted that sstuff on the article :( I'm really sorry to that person....

Going to a Catholic school, and considering myself Catholic, going to church every Sunday, I can say that I believe this opinion is very flawed. The logic in this, what? Some people are just looking for someone to blame I think, I don't think God decides if you go to heaven or not by seeing if you liked Superheros and Pokemon. What about the evolution of a caterpillar to a butterfly, real life proof of evolution right there, and this is no different then Pokemon. Not to mention it's ENTIRELY FICTIONAL! I would honestly like to here this guys thoughts on things such as Star Wars or anything a little more "out there," I'm sorry but people like these take things a bit to literal.

I went to one of the links intitled "problems". I'm guessing it's when people send the people who run this website letters asking for help with problems they are dealing with. Well I read the first letter that they had posted and I was shocked. This tristen guy (i know he is dead but man this is just wrong) tells this person seeking for help that he is going to hell for a sin he commited when he was 19 and that there no way you can get out of it.

I mean I felt like crying when I read this because I cannot believe that this guy was telling people this. He is calling himself a chirstian when he is feeling people with lies like this. I mean that is why Jesus died on the cross, to save us from sin.

I am very angry with this and I'm writing a email to who ever runs that sight. I know some of you are not chirstians, but these people are doing is wrong.

Oh... yeah. That stinks. I feel sorry for that person's family too. :(

Yeah... like NN said, I agree. I'll be a bit less... colorful... next time. =/

I might follow up on you and mimick you w/ the e-mail thing.

Really? He said that about going to heck for a sin comitted long ago? That's just sad. :(

I'm not sorry about her death at all. It's people like this who are the terrorists in life, scaring people into belief and being downright unpleasant with completely illogical arguments to anyone who disagrees with their views. Religion is something I am ok with, but people like this are a cancer.

The hitlist makes me sick. But I can't help but think...

"Tristan- God won!"

^lol

I have a friend who doesn't believe in God. We often have discussions about whether god exists, or whether he cares and such. It almost has become a private joke, and whenever I am ill, loose something, or get detention at school, he always says :"See, god wasn't with you then :p" Its only in a jokey way, but I feel actually like that about this person. No-matter who they were thouhg, a life is a life, and respect should be paid, bacon.

This another insulting quote I found in the Problems section. It is from one of the answerers:

Someone on the fail site said:
You need to stop now and cleanse your soul, or you will go to hell and burn for eternity. You should start by praying, and maybe think about making a donation to the Republican party to continue God’s work and that may make Jesus view you with more indulgence.

....

Yeah we all had some laughs but reviving threads is a no no and is more "epic fail" than this article
