Worse than Melee. Melee took a lot of skill to play and was considered the most technical fighting game ever. Brawl is lackluster when compared to Melee.

Hardly. It is by far worse than Melee. The only reason I would get it is to play on Wifi, so you can do tournaments.

PokeChamp: You forgot: better graphics, a more lengthy (but not superior) storyline, larger character selection, lots of music, plenty of battlefields and a balanced metagame.

Yeah, but it doesn't trump the sheer strategy of Melee.

You just opened another can of worms. >:[

Brawl is by FAR the worst example of that. I point to Snake and Meta Knight, the top characters in the game. Meta Knight is the cheapest, easiest to master character you will ever see. Snake, once mastered, KO's extremely fast and is rather cheap in the way that it takes a lot of oomph to actually kill him. Then you look at the opposite side of the tier list, Ganondorf and Captain Falcon. Ganon is the second slowest character, suffers from a TON of lag in all of his moves, suffers from a horrible grab range, and is rather easy to gimp. Captain Falcon is very light and lacks any true potential to kill.

Ergo, unbalanced.

And you opened a can of worms when you mentioned Falcon! Light or no, he has more than enough power to kill. You're just jealous because he's better than Ganon in every way!

Care to explain why? I believe the official matchup for Ganon and Falcon is 50-50. Ganon is placed higher than Falcon because he has true kill power and can rack up around 70% with one combo. It also takes 150% Damage minimum to kill Ganondorf with Proper DI. Falcon is much lower than that.

As for the stages, here are a few that should be banned:
New Pork City
Temple (Melee)
Warioware stage
Luigi's Mansion
