Eventually, maybe. On Thursday I might be able to battle. We'll see.
BTW, what character do you main?
And a time limit of 8:00 (the reccomended limit) seems to be fairly reasonable. I doubt a 3 or 5 stock match goes that long either way.

OK time limits it is.
K here's how the tourney will roll (If you've never done one):
All members who have joined the tourney shall be randomly paired up and shall battle. Then the winner shall report his/her status. (win/loss)
This will keep going on until we get down to top 2 who battle for 1st place.
Trophies shall be awarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd place.
OK time limits it is.

Well, I've heard other people also cal Captain Falcon the worst character. I don't pay attention to tiers, though. I play with who matches my playing style, and right now he and Ganon are the only ones who do that ('cept Ganon is even worse than captain Falcon).

Unfortunately, ignoring tier lists isn't going to make them go away. I believe GimpyFish said that in order to improve your low-tier main, you need to realize that your main is bad. That's when you can see their weaknesses and actually improve on them.
At least Ganon is in more games. Plus the Falcon Punch got toned down and is not exactly a kill move. WP can kill at about...30% damage. Yeah.
Unfortunately, ignoring tier lists isn't going to make them go away. I believe GimpyFish said that in order to improve your low-tier main, you need to realize that your main is bad. That's when you can see their weaknesses and actually improve on them.

LOL, do you really think Warlock Punch is going to hit anything? Warlock Punch couldn't hit the broad side of a barn! At least Falcon Punch can actually be pulled off. It may not kill like Warlock Punch can, but your opponent would have to be an extreme n00b to be hit by a Warlock Punch.

I have pulled off WPs on people SEVERAL times. Mostly on wi-fi. It's hard to come back from a Triple WP. Either way, Ganon has a lot more killing power and is hard to kill. Ganon also has a decent spike.
And if we want to go off the official matchups, it's even for Ganon and Falcon. AFAIK, Ganon is placed higher than Falcon because he has better matchups with other characters.
And Jigglypuff is actually not that bad. It's higher than Link AFAIK.

I'm about to pick up Punch Out!! and Wii Points cards to download Art Style: Pictobits on DSiWare and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on the VC. I'm out of school, so I have plenty of time for games.

Well, Punch Out may be a let down because it only has 13 characters

I know it's not perfect, but I don't care if it has a small number of fighters. It still has tons of replay value with the challenges, and the harder fighters take tons of time to master. I can't wait to beat Glass Joe every five minutes.
