Well, there was a flag that looked like Bowser Jr's Koopa Bomb in a screenshot. I think he's in M&S 2.

Confirmed Newcomers
Bowser Jr.
DK
Metal Sonic
Silver

Big the Cat is also rumored. This leaves 2 open Mario slots, and 1 (2 if Big is just a rumor) Sonic slot.

Luma was also deconfirmed as a referee, so I think Rosalina is out of the question. Maybe Birdo and Diddy are those last two spots (just not Baby-anyone)

And as for Bowser jr. in M&S 2, I don't mind it. I just prefer the koopalings over him, though.

I just found a link that has many Google doodles having the Triforce, not just that one that somebody posted a while back. PM me for the link because I'm not sure if this is advertising.

YES! These again!
That's not even a fair fight, Ganondorf has a sword.
Donkey Kong has a soft yellow fruit and a somersault attack.
How about Ganondorf vs. Sephiroth?
