You guys should check out Clannad, Kanon or Air, all of them equally as amazing. And abou the sub/dub debate. I have Clannad on DVD, and I watch it with the dub because my dad gets annoyed with their Japanese voices. I don't really care which version I'm watching, but now that I think about it, I watch less anime than I used to because of our internet, so i'm used to manga. I read waaay more manga than I used to.
BTW
Is it Zolo or Zoro? I tend to think that it's Zolo, because i'm used to the One Piece manga, and I wonder which way is correct. I think 4Kids actually got it right. But can someone please tell me?

I do agree that 4Kids killed Tokyo Mew Mew.

@AnimeUSA: I do in fact watch Clannad and it's the best anime that I ever watched. I love that It's funny and less serious at first, but later on it becomes very sad with a more serious storyline. I even cried my eyes out one time before.... and I love the ending music as well (You know, "Dango Daikazoku")

It is spelled Zolo but pronounced Zoro. I have been planning on watching Air whenever I get to it. One dubbed anime I didn't mind was Lucky Star though.

Clannad is amazing, I didn't expect any of it and it hit me that much harder. On another note, I just finished Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka and High School of the Dead. Zombie was good, I liked the way it ended. All I can say about high school is there better be a second season. =/

...Well yeah,the anime isnt that good,and I have only seen movies with subtitles instead of episodes...
I think its good overall.
And I have seen some shorts of Clannad.Its good,but it doesnt really make too much sense to me.And I especially love the ending...I think its name was Dango Daikazoku

And well,I havent readed any manga,but appareantly there is a Paper Mario 2 manga...Well,it doesnt really interest me,but I may as well try to find it.

Lol, i was watching Clannad five seconds ago, just finished it...gotta get the After Story on DVD now. I have the original series on DVD.
I also watched Air, hoping to get that on DVD too, and try Kanon. And Death Note. Yes, i do shonen stuff too.

Was singing Dango Daikazoku too...

I also saw Air with the subs because i didn't know there was a dub. It's probably terrible, but Vic Mignogna is in it so i guess it's okay...

I'm currently watching:
Naruto Shipp.: Really good right now, but I really hate Sasuke >_>
Bleach: It's in a filler arc, but it's a really interesting filler arc. I know a lot of people don't like Naruto and Bleach, but hey, I've watched both of them since ep. 1 and by god I'm gonna watch them till the end.
Fairy Tail (I'm sort of surprised that no one has mention this yet): This anime right here, everyone needs to go watch this.
Pokemon BW: Really really good, the best since the 1st season and dare I say, it might even be better.
Ao No Exorcist(Blue Exorcist): 2011 has some great anime and I personally think this one is the best. It has the same feel as when I first saw anime like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and Fairy Tail. It's going to be here a while.
Steins;Gate: First thought it was going to be like Chaos;Head where I had no idea what was going on, but it's actually not. It's about time travel so if you don't know some things about it, you might be lost.

I've got one more, but I don't think I can talk about it here because it's not pg-13

Anybody catch that "Fooly Cooly" on Adult Swim? It's actually not that bad, if not a little spastic.
 
I haven't been watching much Anime like I used to cause it's gotten out of hand these days with the fanservice, loli, moe, incest, girls beat boys cliche, and worst of all filler material that isn't relevant to the manga storyline since most Anime is based off of the Manga storyline.

Where's the good anime with actual creativity and originality? You just don't see that anymore like what we got in the past like Astro Boy, Akira, Sailor Moon, Gundam, and Dragonball. Yu Yu Hakusho was underrated in the U.S. compared to DBZ but it was great, Rorouni Kenshin is amazing as well. Pokemon is amazing as well but it's doing alright Anime wise I guess.

There has been a few I spotted like Gurren Legann but Anime these days has been going so downhill it's not even funny, Japan needs to step up their A-Game If you know what I mean. Not like in the form of indecency like they have been doing lately but like what they were doing in the late 80's and most of the 90's. Have they seriously run out of ideas for good Anime/Manga? I'm just tired of their "sex sells" method If you know what I mean.

The Anime I'm currently watching right now is Bleach, FMA: Brotherhood, Kekkieshi, and Pokemon Black & White (Best Wishes). Manga wise I'm reading Bleach and Hajime No Ippo I just can't get enough of that Manga even though Pro Boxing is dead no thanks to MMA. As for "Fooly Cooly" yes I have seen it and it's okay though I prefer Cowboy Bebop or Trigun. I wouldn't mind seeing Outlaw Star again since Dragonball Kai was such a letdown.

Anybody here a fan of Miyazaki films? Howl's Moving Castle is probably one of my favorites.

So weird though. But Fooly Cooly is amazing. I'm watching most of the anime on AS right now, and it's the only time I EVER watch that channel.

Weird how I didn't get any replies back. I don't know If it's just me or If anyone's been concerned with the status of the American Anime/Manga Industry lately. I know it's gone downhill over the years and there are a few factors as to why:

1. The Economy - It's partially to blame for it cause with people saving money these days nobody can afford to go out and buy Anime DVD's and Manga Novels when they can basically access it Online for no hassle. Best way to save money in these hard times especially your gas tank even though it's piracy.

Just recently some guy is selling his entire Final Fantasy collection for $14 grand. For someone whose desperate for money I don't blame him, heck If I had a collection like that I'd do the same thing too. Depends on the value I guess.

2. Japan running out of ideas for good Anime/Manga? Well that might be the reason why throughout each Anime/Manga Season there's been less watchable Anime these days due to my previous argument earlier about the overabundance of fanservice, loli, moe, and other stupid cliches aside from the greatness of Shonen Jump series like Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, and even One Piece.

3. American Anime/Manga Companies going out of business. Recently TokyoPop of America filed for bankruptcy, as did several others and possibly even 4Kids however there's still hope with FUNimation as they've been successful with their English Dubs since Dragonball Z one of their biggest successes.

4. Lack of Anime/Manga Distribution in the American Media. Where's capitalism when you need it, seriously. Sure you see ads in American Shonen Jump Magazine and on TV with Cartoon Network despite going under but at least get the word out.

It's almost the same thing. Anyway, stop bashing SJ. DBZ is classic. And so is One Piece, (right? I don't remember). And we all have our own opinions, we can like or not like what we want, but do you even have a reason?
 
I remember when the first dubbed episode of One Piece came on T.V.
I don't remember what year, but I know the place.
I stopped watching it along the way, but whenever I get a new Shonen Jump, I'll read it.

4Kids RUINED One Piece. I like the Funimation dub if I had to pick one. People, check out Air. It's awesome, HIGHLY reccomend it.

I like Funimation too.

Most of the anime they dub are my favorites.
