Issue with Diamond Pal Park

Today, I migrated 6 Pokemon, like usual, to my Diamond's Pal Park. I have used the Pal Park twice in the past, and have never had an issue with it. Unfortunately, when I participated in the "Catching Show" today, my game froze everytime I encountered a Pokemon. I tried different areas with different Pokemon and the outcome was always the same. The game froze right after the green info bar with "Park Balls: 6" or whatever came up.

This is an issue for two reasons:

1. I don't want this to happen everytime I use the Pal Park, for obvious reasons that I don't think I have to explain. :)

and

2. I transferred one important Pokemon (a Jynx with the "Luna" set) that I trained up to 60 on Sapphire. The other five were filler.

Note: Is it an issue that I attached a TM to Jynx?

To TheNextShamanKing: That happened to my brother once before, except with him it was a Torchic that froze the game, so I don't believe it has anything to do with the Pokémon that's appearing. Do you happen to have an Arceus out first on your team when you enter Pal Park? I'm not sure if this is the cause of your situation, but I believe when it happened to my brother, we concluded that was the issue. (I recall seeing something on Bulbapedia about it, too, but it seems to have been taken down.) Unfortunately I'm not sure about what else it could be. Hopefully you're able to find out what it is.

That's odd. I saw just a few weeks ago that it was going for something like $9.99. What an increase.

You are totally correct. I removed the Arceus from my team and the problem was solved. Thank you very, very much! :)

Hey guys, I'm here with better EV training spots:

HIT POINTS (HP)
---------------

Surf in Union Cave and you will only find Wooper and Quagsire for one and two
points, respectively.

ATTACK
------

Surf on Route 42. Goldeen gives 1 point, Seaking gives two.

DEFENSE
-------

Route 45 has a plethora of Pokemon for you to train on: Geodude can be found in
both versions and gives one point. Graveler is likewise in both games and gives
two. Gligar, which is exclusive to HeartGold, gives one point. Fortune smiles
on SoulSilver, however; they can find Skarmory instead, who gives two. Phanpy
(in HG) and Teddiursa (in SS) should be run from; they do not give Defense EVs.

SPEED
-----

Surf in Violet City to find only Poliwag and Poliwhirl. Poliwag gives one
point, Poliwhirl gives two.

Alternatively, fish at Route 35 with the Old Rod. Magikarp and Poliwag both
give 1 point.


SPECIAL ATTACK
--------------

Surf on Route 34 (south of Goldenrod City) and you'll only find Psyduck and
Golduck. Psyduck gives one point, and Golduck gives two.


SPECIAL DEFENSE
---------------

Surf in Cherrygrove City to only find Tentacool (1 point) and Tentacruel (2
points).

- What items are in the Omanyte puzzle room (Water Stone required)?
- Does that girl in Pal Park still give backdrops? I would assume she does, but just wanna check.
- Can you migrate a Pokemon into HG/SS if it knows Whirlpool?

Burned Tower, same as first time. They'll run again, so save before you turn 'em loose.

Route 7 gives you various speeds as well. (Persians and Fearows net 2 each I think)

Actually, I think anything in Route 29 will give you speed as well as Seafoam Island's entrance floor with Golbats swarming you.

I feel like I am about to pluck my eyes out! I can hardly get past 1 ! in the Yellow Forest ad I have literally forced myself to make about 30,000 steps. Is there any way to try to get it to !!! easier? If not, I will just trade.

You don't need 30k, just 10k. If you have a Pikachu (or any electric-type), it's only 7500.

That said, it's like a 3% chance to find Fly/Surf. However, !! can also find Fly/Surf, so don't be too discouraged.

That was over 2 days. However, I can hardly get past !, period. Are there any tricks?

Not to my knowledge. Just takes some luck... 3% is really lame, especially since it's 10w a go.

Not quite. Suicune will be at the Burned Tower, but you will battle it right there. The other two are already roaming.

As for your questions:

1. Stardust, Star Piece, Leppa Berry, Mystic Water.
2. Yes she does.
3. Can't answer this as I recently restarted my HG file.

Joeypals did you just try escaping each time it's only ! and eventually you'll get !!!, Thats what i did personally and caught 4 surfing Pikas so far. Haven't been able to get a flying one -.-.

I have so far gotten ! and !! only. I am at least able to get to the second one now, where the first one is extremely rare for me.
