I recently got a level 100 shiny Giratina for a regular Dragonair through GTS negotiations, but the problem is I am afraid that it is probably hacked and stuff because it says it is from Johto and it is caught in a master ball, and the Dragonair of coarse. I thought the only way to get Giratina in Johto is in an egg and the master ball!?!?!? And I don't know if this belongs on this thread or not, but it is on my black version so I guess it is a black/white problem.

It's fake. No doubt about it. Like you said, Giratina cannot be caught in Johto with a Master Ball (in fact, you can't catch it at all in Johto! It's a "gift" Pokemon).

Plus no one would trade a shiny, legit Giratina for a Dragonair. No one.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Ow well...I guess I'll just trade it to some sucker for a regular Giratina or something.

I just thought of something, what if it was caught in D/P/Pt, traded to HG/SS and then transfered to B/W or would that still day Sinnoh. Also the guy only showed me 2 pokemon, Giratina and Braviary- both shiny, suspicious. I just want it to be real so bad.

Regarding the mouse cursor glitch, yeah, I've seen it happen a few times. It screws me up on the Pelipper one the most. The Dream World takes up a lot of CPU for some reason. As a result, the computer will struggle to interpret sudden mouse movements, for instance.

That make sense. If the computer is slow then you have an advantage occasionally. Cool. I will make sure to keep the computer slow XD. LOLz.:)

EDIT: Guys What level was that Giratina caught at? If it is level 1 you can get onein HG/SS if you did the Arceus event. Then you have your choice of Dialga Palkia or Giratina. If you saved your Masterball then it is possible to catch them using it since you have to enguage battle to even see it on youe dex. It is possible if you have HG/SS. Get it legit checked though. You also need the Arceus from the movie to even do the event in the Sinjoh Ruins or whatever they are caught. I am not saying legit but it is possibly legit. Get it checked. It is probably a HG/SS one XD.:)

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

The only level mentioned in the summary was 100, and how do I get it legit checked? Also remember he traded it for a regular dragonair.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Some will trade legends for junk. I have had that happened before. To get things legit checked look into making an account onto Pokemon Secure when you have the chance. They are the best checkers in the world XD.:)

EDIT: Wait. What is your FC? I would like to take a look at that Giratina. It might have been migrated from HG/SS. That is why it would only show that level. I still would like to take a look after I am done the Dream World in about 25 minutes XD.:) Use my White FC. Thanks man.:)

Exactly.

It records the game in which it was originally obtained, not in which it was transferred from. A Giratina found in Johto could only be caught in a Poke Ball (Arceus event). The only place you could catch it in a Master Ball would be Sinnoh.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

I still recommend that you get it hack checked though. I recommend getting a Secure account so you know what to look for in a hack. Most hacks are easy to find but others are not so easy. Get it checked just to be sure XD.:)

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

It probably is hacked, but I will make an account and get it checked anyway. Also what is FC, I am new to the VG.

Another question, I got a Thundurus from a trade so I took it and my Tornadus to the abundant shrine and Landorus is not comming, why?

FC = Friend Code. You register them into your Pal Pad and can play with your friends in the Union Room or Wi-Fi Battles. When you use Game Sync, the registered codes are added, and your friends become your Dream Pals as a result.

Regarding Thundurus, if I recall correctly, if you receive the opposite genie from the GTS, it will not work for the Landorus event. Someone correct me on this if I am wrong.

(if you can't get another Thundurus, PM me. We can set up a quick trade and I'll give you mine)

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Let me figure out this FC stuff (where is it?) and in the mean time on Pokemon Secure where do I put in my Black FC, there isn't a place for that, it goes from D/P/Pt to HG/SS?

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

You can find your Friend Code (and those of other people) on your Pal Pad; in BW you can get that from Amanita after the C-Gear event is finished.

If you don't have a Friend Code for yourself yet, the first time you connect to Wifi, you're given one.

I unfortunately don't know what that is. Explain.

Go to xxashxx for help with Secure. We don't really have experience with it.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

I just want to know where to find my Friend Code for now.

Ok, so first off you need the Pal Pad (which I assume you have). For those reading this who don't have the Pal Pad, you get it through the course of the story when you get the C-Gear. Open the Key Items section of your bag, and select the Pal Pad. Then select "My Friend Code", and you can see it there.

Note: your DS needs to have the Wi-Fi activated for you to see your Friend Code. If you haven't, at the main screen when you select your save file, hit Nintendo WFC Settings, and set it up from there.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

It says I need a "Nintendo WiFi USB connector" sold separatly, so I guess I have to get one of those.

If you have a router, you can just use that. I'm pretty sure Nintendo discontinued the WiFi USB connectors. You can try to find one on ebay.
