I still am unsure, is it possible to get Unova pokemon in the Dream world? Everywhere only says you can get Gen I, II, III and IV pokemon but doesn't say if you can get Gen V.

You can but as posted on the previous page the Dream World which is a sub-division of the Global Link is closed and to be opened on March 30th

When you and another friend use Feelings Check you earn some type of scales so with your scales you take them to a girl in Mistralion City and she will exchange them for Heart Scales

I'm looking at my Gigalith and it says it's a rock type. Then why did electric attacks do damage to him? Same goes for a Tranquil that I used rock attack on. It didn't say super effective. What's going on here am I missing something?

It is generally uncommon. It's not rare, but it doesn't pop up EVERY SINGLE TIME...
